  1. You'd need to use a C2 lever, as the existing Magura setup is a closed system and the new Mono/Mini systems are open. Contact Pete Wright for any help, he did it.
  2. Out of interest, do Mr Watson/Tunnicliffe go to the pub and stuff like that?
  3. Applied Geology at uni at the moment, hopefully gettign a job for the summer at Evans Cycles in the City.

    Problem

This happened to me and couldn't be arsed with a new stem, so a 10mm stem stacker sorted it out for me. Obviously only works if you have enough steerer tube to spare, but sorted me out and was free
  5. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....showtopic=98670 Why do we need 2 identicle threads for this? Ends up with Danny Kearns, Gareth Merideth and co saying it counts, and the rest of the world saying it doesn't.
  6. Yes people have cracked frames especially the weak T-Mag.
  7. TRA - f**king huge Benito - Big
  8. Doesn't mean he was the originator of big sidehops does it?!
  9. Plyometrics are where its at. But as a general rule, ride your bike as much as you can and you'll get better, no matter how stacked you are.
  10. Guess so? Is paper money recyclable?
  11. The pound is sound. Tell your teacher that
  12. Yeah most of those walls are about as high as kerbs.

    Cya In Two Weeks!

Can't just steal my shit from the second page and whack it on the seventh! GOSH
  14. Doesn't count. If you can get the height, sweet, but that just means you need to do it till you sidehop it properly, i.e stay on the wall. Then you can put it in a video. As the for the tapping thing, i agree with Mike. You tap something, you make the height, but your weight is too far over the back so you hop back off again. You do it again and again till you stay on the wall, otherwise it doesn't count!
  15. Find out A: who owns the land, B: how much they'd want to sell it for/rent it and then talk to someone about building a shed. Just because theres some spare land somewhere doesn't mean you can build what you like on it. We have 3 sheds in our garden, and i'm pretty sure there was no need for planning permission/a public notice (you put a note up outside your house and people can complain about it to the agencies). I believe planning permission is only needed for what are seen as 'permanent' buildings, i.e if you were planning on making it out of bricks then you'd need planning permission. Good luck with it... If the owner wants to sell the land for a reasonable price and you can afford it, you may as well buy it from him.
  16. This is pretty much what I'm on about... If people can sidehop this high (which looks to be as high/nearly as high as many tuckage pics) then whats the dealio? I recon that if videos of the top sidehop/tap/gap riders didn't show silly tucks (that they need to do to get the height) people would only tuck on stuff thats beyond the point at which the human body can jump. Jesus this is hard to explain Ah well, keep on tuckin'.
  17. First you need to go to your keyboard and press the 'caps lock button'. Then you need to upload them to the internet using imageshack or whatever you fancy. Unless New Members can attach files? In which case attach them using the bit below when you type a reply.
  18. Everyone is different, but the marks on the soles of my shoes say i have them right on the balls of my feet. Basically, look at the sole of your shoe and imagine a line splitting the front from the back in the middle. this should be roughly where the rearward side of your pedal should be.
  19. Yeah he switches lots. But i watched 3 videos of him after you made your statement, and for all the big sidehops he went to his right. He go's to the left if he wants to do his little front to back thing, thats all. He is DEFINATELY left foot forward and go's to the right unless he's doing them to his bad side.

    Biff Latest Video.

Pretty much the most predictable video/ident/trailer/teaser whatever you want to label it as i've ever seen. I like to see an obstacle (even a simple stack of pallets) think 'he's gonna sidehop up them' then the rider 180's up them or whatever. This video it was a stack of pallets, i thought 'he's gonna sidehop them' and lo and behold, he did. Albeit high sidehops, but a 45" sidehop looks the same as a 44" sidehop to me. As for people saying they dislike it, don't post it up if you think you're only gonna get positive comments. Lastly, Joe is cool and ganging up on him isn't really a mature thing to do.
  21. Fair play to the bloke on the full bouncer, pretty sure not many on here could do those gaps on a 'normal' trials bike!
  22. Keita sidehops to his right, and is left foot forward.
