  1. So there i am in my garage and i'm pumping my tyre up (slow puncture) and it keeps popping off the rim. So i'm like 'oh em gees' and kick some stuff. Decided its: 1. Flat-motherf**king-spotted rim 2. f**ked choob 3. f**ked tyre. Today i pulled it all, put new tube on and put new tyre on. Works fine. I'm deducing its the tyre (which is a dual ply Maxxis Minion 2.5 ST). The tyres only about 3 months old and has plenty of tread left. It is relitively buggered in that there are various small cuts on the wall and the carcass is showing through the rubbre on the sidewall in places from missed taps to 90 and sidehops etc, but nothing worse than i've seen on other peoples whips. Anyone else had any experiences of this?
  2. Go to Thorncop, then work your way down in a straight line till you reach the sea.
  3. Learn how to build wheel for your mates. Make little flyers and send them out down your road/pin them in your local bike shop and advertise bike maintainance/light gardening/general household tasks for the elderly etc. Ask your parents for jobs round the house.
  4. Yeah? Which ones? I'm not disputing your claim, just interested
  5. It'll be fine as long as you cut carefully, use a new blade with fine teeth and tape it to give it a bit of support while you cut.

    The Storm?

I was in train when it happened, it was like a rain storm or something.
  7. 1. Levers are identical. 2. Do the same job, clearly they're different levers but will work with whatever Hope caliper you put on it. As for using a front for a rear, i believe the calipers for f and r are different, as well as the lever being on the 'wrong' side.
  8. Out to dinner with the Landrover lot tommorow evening for dinner i believe. Other than that they seem to have bugger all to do in the evenings other than sleep/get drunk in the hotel.
  9. I guess you would hate to be a moderator then eh...
  10. 5. Changing from an old Avid lever to an XTR sorted me out a treat.
  11. Saw these on OTN a little while ago, look pretty sweet. For some reason, the front disk makes me want to try it,looks stupidly powerful Which is crazy.
  12. I would have sliced the little f**k with my SIM card.
  13. Mines a year old and still perfect haha... But then i love my Echo Hifi and still use an X517 on the front so whatever.
  14. Randomly saw Neil today waiting outide the Evans store i work in. The rig looks pretty shite to be honest, god knows what they do on those small blocks. My lunch is usually too late to see the demo with Chris which is a bit of a gay-er.
  15. I've got a proper VP cage you can 'have Glen. I'll see if i have any decent pads, too.
  16. You doing the LandRover demo in Canary Wharf with Chris?
  17. Mark the expert over here... Have you managed to gt any power at all out of Koxx Yellows? I'd go medium
  18. I think they should put the money to more effective ways of traffic control. Everyone slows down for the white lines then speeds back up again, you can pretty much always see them/know were they are anyway and people who are going too fast to slow down one they've seen them deserve to be caught/should buy a Valentine1. I read somewhere those chevrons that keep space between you and the car infront were voted the most effective.
  19. My dad drives a car that has BP Ultimate petrol in it and my mum drives a car that has BP Premium Unleaded in it so i guess they do yes?
