  1. Hmmmm I wonder what the result of this will be! I use CRC and occasionally Wiggle for non trials stuff.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YitYc92iXl8
  3. TO SUM UP: Its not possible to tap a thread into each end and use a bolt, as Ali said they just have axle ends rather than solid axle. It is possible to use a bolt on skewer if you like.
  4. Clothes wise i wear shorts and tracksuit trousers made of cotton (so not shiny shit) and whatever t-shirt happens to be at the top of the pile. When riding I hate it if i do anything that looks sloppy or unsmooth, if i do something and it doesn't turn out how i want it then i'll do it again until I make it smoothly.
  5. Well I'm thinking of nice things to say and the best i can come up with is that its good to have young people that are into trials.
  6. Steel spacers? You need 4 bits for a rear brake - An upper 'cup' and a lower 'cup' for each side. The Magura cylinder sits in between these 2 pieces. The actual cylinder shouldn't be touching the frame.
  7. Bummer... Hope you get it fixed dude!
  8. Its not over filled is it? As you probably know, they're an open system so they have a small hole in the top cap which can make it seem like its leaking but its just pushing excess fluid out. If thats not it, new seal kit?!
  9. Haha, tell me about it... All out of Zubrowka and spending £3 seemed better than £15 at the time.
  10. King do more than black and silver you douche! Better to have contrasting colour with the frame i'd say. Recently got meself a black one on a white frame, so i voted black?
  11. Good to see you're being original... Use your own music. Better still, use some music that fits in with your riding. I can guarentee your video won't fit in well with the music, because your name ISN'T Damon and you don't ride that big. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with...
  12. Just chillin', didn't feel like going out tonight so listening to a bit of Ratatat and Zero 7 and drinking some cider and shit.
  13. I think so, probably couldn't spell nullo.
  14. Thats cos we can't do without you Inur!
  15. The Meta looks like a much better frame for the same monies.
  16. Made my computer make a really odd noise that would only go away when i turned the speakers completely off Great video anyway
  17. Somewhere between 15 and 25 psi. Its totally down to how much you weigh, what tyres you have, what kind of terrain you're riding on, how harsh you are, how you like the feel of the bike, what riding style you're into and what the conditions are.
  18. I hear you, but if their parents are rich they've clearly earnt it (like you have) and are able to spend a similar proportion of their net wealth on their kids' interests, i.e a trials bike.
  19. About the gripshift, its the only sensible way of doing it. They've put gears on there so kids who are just testing the water can get to/from places, and buyers arn't put off with it only having one gear. Gripshift is 100 times better than Rapidfire on trials bikes, due to the whole dead/bruised thigh syndrome. You can cut down gripshift and run it inboard of the brake levers if you're really fussed, or cut it down and run a full length grip.

  21. Sweet hat i think you'll agree. Awesome news for both riders, looking forward to seeing what they come up with for the DB Pro model
  22. I recon that V brake equipped fella could be awesome. Take off the gears/shifter, get some decent rear V pads, and a better rear hub and after that you'd be set for a good year until you needed to do anything else (cranks and bars being the next thing i'd change). i think Adam is right, in that the best 'trials' bike i could get hold of back in the day was an Azonic DS1, steel forks that i weighed to be about 2kg, that Sora mech/cassette/chain deal The Wooley Hat Shop did, a Magura on the back with red pads and tar, Deore hubs with 'uprated' XT freehub on heavy Sun Rhyno rims. And that cost me twice as much as the bikes shown here today! "Back in my day..."
  23. If you rely on tapping you'll be shit. You won't learn how to get up something using technique and strength, and when you come to comethign you can't tap easily (rail/undercut rock, whatever) you'll be buggered 'cos you havn't learnt to just backwheel it straight up.
