Well yeah, it is... But remember petrol is only a portion of what oil gets made into. Plastics, chemicals etc are all massive players in oil use. The price of domestic gas is set to go up by 25% very soon...

On a similar note, we will be reaching peak production of oil between 2012 and 2022. We currently produce around 83 million barrels of oil PER DAY. 2.5 years ago it cost around 13USD to buy a barrel of oil. Today it costs around 100USD. I'm sored so i wrote this for you all to enjoy.

Word... But then surely this concentrates the problem which makes it easier for the police to patrol these zones? Or you just stick CCTV up EVERYWHERE and the criminals are f**ked. Or something.

Many CCTV tapes are of such bad quality they're useless anyway... And alot of people just use decoy camaras which are fine for prevention, but if a crime is commited they cause more harm than good.
