  1. I think if you spent a summer / a month / whatever just practising what you can do rather than trying to go bigger you'd start to lose some of the sketchiness. Sketchiness goes with time on the bike and getting everything dialled before you move on to the next step. And riding natural will help lots, go to the rip rap infront of widewater lagoon or the splash walls ride that lot, you won't have the scope to be sketchy or you'll fall off.
  2. Yeah imma need a deep one and use an old bearing as a spacer between the decent bearing going in the frame and the socket.
  3. Dusky outside, I can hear birds and the occasional sheep (its lambing season), probably around 8 degrees relitively humid light westerly winds.
  4. It's dark currently so I can't see. Probably slightly overcast, around 5 degrees, light winds. I will keep this updated for you
  5. As much as i'd love to spent my yearly wages on that tool, it's out of stock
  6. Hello there, Could someone tell me the best socket size to use for installing an echo spanish bb? Gotta be long enough to fit over the axle too i guess? I wanna buy one over the interwebs right now. Thanks!
  7. Mainly because realisitcally 5mm isn't gonna make a huge amount of difference, especially given the different thicknesses of pedal body and even shoe sole that could also affect things to a similar degree. To be honest i'd just go with whatever you have on there now / whatever you can get cheaper or easier. If it's still 50/50 then go 175 just because they are more of a 'standard' on 26" bikes, but really you can't go far wrong with either.
  8. 175 - more leverage 170 - better clearance Real world difference felt - f**k all.
  9. Is that where all the fishing boats came in for that Deadliest Catch programme? Nice riding, can see your 'comp' roots coming through which is cool.
  10. Just need a big Count Down style clock.
  11. Burn disk and pads to get oil off Clean disk with meths New pads and clean disk with meths is probably best compromise. Pads soak up oil so burning may be only way to get them better. Usually when soaked you may as well buy new. Easier to clean disk than pads.
  12. Glynny bey did ridden.it but think he's moved onto bigger and better things sadly.
  13. Yep just setting up the webcam zoom lens.
  14. Play your cards right and it can be a three way...
  15. So we were both sorta right, high five.
  16. I heard somewhere train drivers have to push a button every like 30 seconds to say 'i'm still awake'? Is this bs?
  17. Better off buying a Hope XC and 6 ballpoint pens. Those were the days.
  18. Gotcha Nice editing and music as always, kept it interesting where natural stuff like that can get a little boring to watch when you cant tell how hard it all is.
  19. Think he's commenting on the bike changing - One with front disk one with maggie. Also spotted the try-all to michelin rear tyre swap. He got a practise bike and a comp bike or summat?
  20. Was gonna mention him, gonna come a cropper big time when he takes off anything thats not perfectly flat, dry concrete.
  21. Do you use the bolt head or threaded part? Threaded part is smaller dia, might help out a bit?
  22. Says it will make it quieter, therefore no one in trials will buy it :wink2:
