Never had any problems, I prefere watching BMX videos to trials ones generally and think BMX is much radder with a better image. And lets face it, there are plentyof twats in the trials world just are there are twats in the BMX/skate/jump etc world.

I've never been to a comp where the Butlers have been riding, but I still have a negative view of them. Once they can all get over their arrogance, I'm sure they're all very nice people. As James Hyland (Yeah Chris H, it is ) said, the result Daniel pointed out isn't a totally true reflection of his ranking within the world. I've done national XC races where I've come overall second, but i sure as hell know I'm not the second best XC racer in the South of England. Its just I turned up to every one and placed 4th or 5th. As far as I can tell ,(and I'd be very interested to know the real deal with this, Butler crew), your whole lives are dedicated to trials. Daniel, do you go to university or have a job outside trials? Dave, do you have a job outside trials? if not, your whole time can be spent travelling to each comp and getting a place. Theres no denying Danny is a good rider, but the arrogance tarnishes it. There are far better riders with a far better attitude out there.

Undo drive side bolt and wobble wheel about a bit to try and free up the bolt then try undoing again? Get a long allen key?

Cheers for the replys... The rim at the moment has a light grind, but that was just to take the paint off. Light grinds tend to make pads quieter than a really clean smooth rim I've found. Anyway, can Rim Wranglers be fitted into CNC V backings?

So I'm gonna be running a front V on my DOB, and have some CNC V backings. Is there any material available to fit in these that are hard/don't make much noise? I can't stand a squealing front brake when I'm riding to and from places. Heatsink seem to be out of stock, looked at Neco but am unsure. Any others?

Why cease production of whats got to be the most popular/sucessful trials pad ever? You mentioned molds, surely with a pad as good as the CRM a new mold would be economically viable?
