  1. Apply the cream anyway? There was a book I read at English AS level, and i can't remember for the life of me what its called. But anyway, there was a dude in that who kept a latex glove full of vaseline on when he slept to 'keep his hand soft for his wife'. Maybe try something along those lines?
  2. Its more that thermohaline currents drive the gulf stream - Hyposaline warmer water rises, moved towards the poles. Hyper saline cold water sinks, moved towards the equator creating a 'conveyor belt'. As the polar ice caps melt, the water becomes less saline, stopping or slowing the 'conveyor belt' and therefore the gulf stream. And as you've said, us being on the same latitude as parts of Canada and Russia = snow and cold in winter way beyond what we're used to.
  3. I usually wear a Superman t-shirt thats 2 sizes too small so i can look like that Damian Watson kid.

    Dob Rims

For lightweight/smooth/comp riders they're excellent. For bashers they're not so great, hence people have dented them. I'm definately going to look into a front one in the near future.

Wheres that to? If you live the right end of Surrey, Toad rocks in Tonbridge isn't *that* far.
  9. The brake will be the shit with some Plazmatic CRMS in the dry. make sure you keep it clean with muc-off.

I also forgot to mention that this can happen if your brake is shite. Mine does it now and again if i'm riding natural in the wet, as you have to put more pressure through the lever to keep the brake from slipping.

Think you need to ride more and get the forearm muscle built up. Also try using your brake as little as possible, especially your front one. Maybe try one of they hand excersiser jobbies, too.
  12. The ratchet rings are screwed in. I managed to put so much force on it it stripped itself which is nice. If you just send it back to them with a note explaining whats happened, how old the hub is and your address, they should send a new one back to you.
  13. Is it an '06? I guess theres no obvious massive crack in the hub? My '07 ratchet ring stripped recently, meaning it just spun inside the hubshell. There was no bang though. And Hope's warrenty is still amazing, i've sent both my cracked '06 and stripped '07 back and they've replaced them no problems.
  14. Which particular Plymouth ride are you on about? Theres people pretty much riding plymouth like 4 times a week. Theres a 'group ride' on this weekend (22nd) which will start at Copthorne at around 10.30 - 11.30. I will be there. Alex will be there. Thats all i can remember off the top of my head, read the topic in rides and locations for more.
  15. I guess I'm jealous then. Riding/music/style aside, the reason I think the video wasn't any good was because the shots of his brake slipping when he was trying to get up the small wall didn't really give the effect you wanted. My brake would hold as well as that, and my brake is pretty avarage, and on a stock ( more leverage). I wouldn't neccesarily buy Neco pads off the back of that viedo, because frankly it showed the pads to be worse than my Plaz CRMs on dead grind with slightly wonky set up.
  16. Yes i did and it was really funny and it made me laugh.
  17. Yeah that was alright actually, nice one.
  18. Thats probably the best video i've ever seen. That gap at the union is pretty massive, nice one sonny jim.
  19. Nice to see Cookeybeys cameo at the end there. Very good, nice one.
  20. I do indeed. I went along to a comp of his in Newton Abbot at his warehouse place and rode, but I'm unsure as to what series it was. Just did it for a laugh and had a good day.
  21. Tuppers ran a Southwest series, bu I'm not sure if thats still continuing.
