  1. Yeah thats the plan for tomorrow. Don't have access to any milling machines (I'm not from the north ) so a file will have to do. Looks like taking about 1.5mm off will put it central. If it doesn't work I'll just buy a new brake.
  2. My first thought was the caliper was twisted (never been hit hard dispite what the borecap looks like, but is ancient) and it may well be, but its nearly touching on both upper and lower NDS
  3. Adding a spacer anywhere will push the caliper further inboard making it worse? Look at the last pic.
  4. Hello fellow trialsters. Just bought some Trialtech sport lite forks to go with my ancient mono trials caliper and try-all H front hub. I am using a Hope adaptor to bring the rotor size up to 200mm. The forks are faced, the adaptor is brand new. I have just taken off a set of trialtech sports which were fine. However, with everything bolted up tight and no spacers anywhere, the caliper is too far inboard and theres not a lot I can do about it. Anyone had this problem before?
  5. Out of interest what are your repayment details? How much per month / lump sum etc?
  6. Could you run a cheap deore or whatever lever instead? Guess the adjustment isn't as good and likely heavier but if you're after a cheap fix?
  7. I used to use these pads, as said worked well but lasted a month max.
  8. Could you ring a tuner and ask them what they reckon?
  9. Why are you looking at Echo SL's then! Get some Trialtechs, get the sports if you don't want the sport lite's.
  10. Just hand in a picture of a veyron annotated in ms paint with speed lines and 'wow, much fast'.
  11. Was your 79 - 82mph figure off a sat nav or your speedo? 79 on a speedo is probably more like 75ish actual speed.
  12. I always think he looks like a mix of chandler from friends and someone outta the mighty boosh (can't put my finger on who).
  13. *nerd alert* just fyi slow reezays are no longer made and were a 40a compound, now they only do a super tacky which is the 42a compound.
  14. Sea defences, natural coastal (eg Lamorna cove), minions quarry, tors up on bodmin, its all there just depends what you want.
  15. From memory Deore hubs are ( or used to be) between 16 - 24 engagements. A standard Pro2T is 48, so double. The newer ones are about twice as much as that. They are made in completely different ways and the Pro2T will last a lifetime if you've managed to use a Deore hub for more than a day. Your other options are a Chris King (72 engagements using a ring drive system) or a fixed hub with freewheel mounted to it. I'd personally go with a Pro2T as they can be picked up pretty cheaply second hand, and arn't that expensive new. Also have nice big allen key bolts and bits like that. Bulbs and XCs arn't really up to the job. Us older riders used them back in the day before the Pro2T came along and whilst they worked, they are nowhere near as good for trials as the Pro2T. Honestly worth spending the extra money, rather than buying a cheaper one and having to spend time and money de-lacing it when it breaks.
  16. Awesome, the gaps at Southwark and the sidehop to pedal was pretty badass
  17. Haha good stuff Joe. We might end up in plym over the weekend, will holla at you if we do.
