Yeah thats bullshit, what course are you doing? I'm in my second year at uni and ride like every day. Theres plenty of hours in a day to get work, drinking and riding in. Even if you're in uni from 9-5 every day (which is very unlikely on the majority of courses), you still have from 5-9ish to ride, then 9 till whenever to go get crunk. Then just ride/get a girlfriend/a normal life to occupy your weekends.

I just finished a week of independant mapping in Cornwall in preparation for the month I have to spend on my own, in Wales, up a mountain in the summer. Mapping. Grand.

My '08 rides really well, the back end is pretty flexy so a booster is needed, but other than that the flex isn't overly noticeable. I find it to be amazing on natural where the very low weight means you can throw it about wherever you want it, its also very stable. Mine is for sale as a full bike as it happens, would rather stick to my Czar than get shit on 2 bikes.
