  1. Thats crazy talk, though I'd rather watch some tech street I think...
  2. Porter bey, Hawyes, and Ali C, because they have a sense of humour and arn't clefts.
  3. My mateys did it, looks super tatty after a while.
  4. Mr Fat Tom, its odd how you say 'I always remind people of people' as before I read that I thought 'you remind me of someone but i dunno who'. IS THAT CRAZY OR IS THAT CRAZY?
  5. The forum would shut down as no one would have anything to talk about if this happened.
  6. Man, for a split second there I thought that was some new fangled design of wheelchair.
  7. We did contemplate dressing like dickheads in full lycra 3 sizes too small for us and joining the local roadie club that rides through the town during the evenings.
  8. Well actually my attire was as follows: H&M hoody, Fly 53 t shirt, Fox shorts and Vans shoes. But thats how we do it round here.
  9. I rode my road bike today. What do you think of that, you trials wankers?
  10. Except we're not talking about touring. And Zertz inserts are a joke, the UK regional manager for Specialized lives in Soho which happens to be where I work... And he himself had told us they're nothing more than a marketing tool. But if you liked the geometry thats cool, different strokes for different folks I guess...
  11. Yeah but thats like a description, not a brand name. Its like rebranding Coca Cola 'caffienated brown-black sugar vegetable extract soft drink'
  12. Errr... Roubaix frames have wank geometry unless you're 60+ years old
  13. *Why do people on this forum take everything so seriously it was a joke.
  14. Badass, best vid I've seen for years.
  15. A few notes I'd like to add: 1. If its small, why did you have to tuck a rediculous amount to make it? 2. You stretched a photograph to make a move look bigger to some people on an internet forum? Nice. 3. "lately im doing hugh sidss n yer i kept it thanks"
  16. There was a bull run when I was in a small town called Aliaga in Spain, was amazing! Those bars are f**king thick, but they got severely dented when the bulls ran full pelt into them and i didn't feel quite so safe behind them! Best atmosphere ever, with the whole village out and the local bands playing traditional music, f**king sick. Have a good 'un, sounds like a solid plan!
  17. Don't take advice from Glen, he's worked at Evans. The Specialized Allez range is sweet, really good frames and fairly decent spec. I ride one so they must be good. The Pinnacle range from Evans is really good if a little unknown, they have top parts on them for their price bracket and have watched the frame designs grow over the years and nicked the best ideas from the best brands. If you're after singlespeed, the Langster is good value but aluminium nd the '08 graphics are pretty dire. Surly Steamrollers, Cannondale Capo and Good old Pistas are better bikes but out of your budget for the most part. If you do go for the Allez, try to upgrade the cranks in the future because they tend to be real flexy and stiffer ones transform the ride
  18. So which brightspark came up with 'hot engineering novelties'?
  19. Way better than all the shitty Hayes and Shimano ones of equivalent price, and most Juicy 7's I've tried have been more powerful than my bb7.
  20. My KOT forks cracked after a good 2 years of service, my new Echo Controls cracked in about 4 months, using the same 185mm BB7.
  21. So anyway, it seems any large city is good. London is awesome but unless you're willing to spend about £100 on a night you might be worrying about spending £15 on entry and £5 for a JD/coke making your night out shit. We tend to drink near us (outskirts of London) then catch the train in and just have a couple of top up drinks in the clubs, otherwise it gets mega expensive. Also have a look for Wetherspoons for pre-drinks as they are slightly cheaper than the well known pubs and clubs. It always seems to be a really good atmosphere in London, everyones out for a good time and in the smaller indie clubs I frequent, everyone helps each other out and theres no aggro. Buy a map before you go, some parts of London (especially places like Soho) are like mazes and theres often only foreigners around to ask where the f**k you are. If you need to get a train back to your hotel or whatever after the night, be wary they stop at around 12 so unless you have a very early one, you may need to get a night bus.
  22. I went there once. I could be tempted again, maybe.
  23. No, a Pro2 would do the job just about. For why would you want 5 gears?
