  1. Tucking is only cool if you live in Nottingham, Sheffield or surrounding suburbs.
  2. I have a few thoughts. I find it awesome your name is Clifford and yet thats the sort of video you produce. Have you watched FTC Mayhem? I liked some of the riding, and props for using what appears to be the wrong bike to do the job, and succeeding.
  3. You're hooking waist height walls? Anyway, as has ben said the quicker you hit it, the better chance you have of translating that into upward motion and getting yourself ontop of the wall.
  4. That frame was so f**king sweet to ride, excellent.
  5. Cheers boys (and lady!), and a special thankyou goes out to Mr Rainbird who will recieve his treat next time I see him. Happy birthday Ad, have a good 'un
  6. Turned out nicely Ad, good work
  7. Could you tell me more about the liquid? I mean I'd LOVE sponsorship and its why I'm still riding, to get sponsored, obviously, but I don't just wanna slap any old liquid on my bicycle. I'm sure you can empathise. It sounds interesting
  8. But bike cleaning isn't your business. I clay my car but I don't clay my bike? I use a PC on my car but not bike, I wax my car not my bike, etc. etc.
  9. If i had some light swirling and holograms, what would you suggest?
  10. Well geometry is clearly a very personal thing, so I can only give my view and you can then take pointers from there. I'm 6'1", and ride very UCI style natural and street. I ride a Czar which has a wheelbase of about 1090, chainstays of 385 (I think!) and bottom bracket rise of 25. Higher bb: Easier to stay on rear wheel. More pogostick style. More ground clearance. Eaier to wheelswap/sidehop. Can make you fall off the back of objects when you land on them. Harder to tap Shorter chainstays: Stays on rear wheel easier. Longer give more leverage for gapping Longer wheelbase: Better for UCI style riding, easier once on backwheel. Bad for manuals/bunnyhops! So thas just a list I compiled off the top of my head, there will be bits i missed but hopefully i covered some key points.
  11. Word... Well we'll have to see what Mr Deng has come up with I guess.
  12. Well for example Mark, my KOT forks... Cost £60 2 years ago. They weighed about 900g, lasted me 2 years of learning to hook and went through 3 frames before finally cracking on the disk mount. My Echo Controls retail at like £75, and lasted 4 months, saving me less than 200g in the process. Both were comepletely acceptable weight wise, and yet the cheaper ones lasted 6 times longer.
  13. Been so long since I learnt this its a little hard for me to explain, but I'll try You wanna be nice and central over the bike when on the front wheel, with your weight over the front axle. At the peak of your 'endo', Before your back end drops to the ground you wanna compress into the forks. You then want to release the front brake while pushing forwards with your arms and legs, simultaneously pulling up and aiming for your rear tyre to land ontop of the wall. Its more of a knack than anything else, the more you do it the smoother you'll be able to do it and it'll look and feel much better and more controlled. Good luck

    Fatty

    Happy 14th birthday honkey!
  15. Glad he's moving trials forwards I just hope someone can make a decent, strong light fork that doesn't crack at the disk mount.
  16. Well the Pacific is a rather large ocean, you'd be better off with a smaller one, such as the Irish sea.
  17. I wish Hawziee and Ashton were like Peter Pan and just rode trials forever... They're great ambassadors for the sport. At least Hawyes has a sense of humour!
  18. Also a clip of Plymouth in there for good luck.
  19. Save up like everyone else has to. Theres no place that sells things loads cheaper than shops unless you get stuff second hand from the for sale section on here or ebay.
  20. Couriers here often cover their top end bikes in pipe lagging and tape so they look like shit and won't get nicked.
  21. all 24 Modest mouse songs on my laptop.
  22. Tartybikes. Tell them what hub and rim and number of spokes and lacing pattern and they'll sort the lengths for you

    Do You Believe?

Really? Depends what you mean by aliens i guess. I think its pretty narrow minded to think we're the only 'living things' to live in our universe. But conversely i don't believe in UFOs and little green men.
  24. Saw them for £27 in Currys the other day These seem to be the pick of the crop so I may well invest in some.
