  1. What a random thing to say. I've never really liked black rims for some reason, as Ross said they look a bit odd with a silver sidewall. I did run a temporary black Mavic disk rim on the front a little while ago and that looked ok but don't really like them out backs.
  2. What does 'narrow wide' actually mean? I havn't ridden mtbs for years.

  4. Just a long time riding. I don't break that many parts, but my drivetrain gets quite a lot of shit.
  5. My King went to shit, even after services by both the importer and Tarty, skipped a full rotation on a horrible up to front and I had enough and sold him on. Got an original Pro2T, snapped hub shell. Got another one free, snapped hub shell again. Got another free one, stripped the ratchet ring. Had enough, sold him on and got a White Industries FFW, was ok but lockring kept coming loose. SL's came out, and I've had about 5 over the course of about 5 years. So nothing is fantastic, SLs are good and I believe Hope have sorted the problems with the Pro2's now. They were excellent when they worked.
  6. Well no, but as it's you and you seem to have very little grasp of anything, we'll allow it
  7. Wouldn't you want to set the rebound slower so it doesn't 'kick' you off course? Though I guess maybe faster would make it feel a bit less sluggish? If it's an air shock could you pump it up harder?
  8. Because British people are never complete c**ts.
  9. I live in a nice place so no, never.
  10. Clive Leeson if you can wait a year or 2?
  11. How old is the tyre? If it's old the bead can get stretched slightly and it doesn't like to seat.
  12. These are pretty good frames, this SL has lasted over a year which is pretty good going really.
  13. I've not partaken in any of this tomfoolery for a good few years, but your knees will enjoy that bolted stem very muchly.
  14. Funny how they are happy to allow you to watch them stuffing an octopus up their asshole and shit it out onto someone elses chest, but a vagina? God no.
  15. Bahaha, that was good. And f**k she is fine. Fair play fedora eel boy.
  16. Nuts in the SE isn't it... My parents bought my childhood home in Crystal Palace about 30 years ago, the people who were renting from them paid more in rent in a year than it cost to buy outright 30 years ago. Just sold it, £500k for a 2.5 bed house
  17. Cool, don't mean that in a bad way btw
  18. As long as you're under 16, looks great
  19. Update: My grip has broken, and front wheel has now been replaced with a Rockman hub / Trialtech rim / DT spokes that I had lying around as my H hub has cracked. Subscribe for more mind blowing updates.
  20. Not 100% but I'd guess avoid very sugary stuff like half an hour to an hour before you ride (insulin spike, your body tries to deal with it and you're making it work muscles really hard so it goes all weird) but also eat a kinda level amount of sugar throughout the day so you don't get a drop just before you go and ride and your body wants energy. I'm not a doctor or nutritionist or whatever but have experienced many times. Chocolate coated raisins are good to have as a snack if you get this, they will increase sugar levels quickly and you can limit how many you have. Maybe try monitoring what you eat throughout the day if you plan to go riding and see any patterns in food vs jitteryness? I know on Saturday 3 of us were riding hard natural all day in the sun, stopped for lunch, then all 3 started feeling dizzy and all over the place when we started riding again. Choco sorted us out, then we carried on riding for another few hours. Try and keep fluid levels up too.
  21. Sugar levels, yeah. Usually happen in the evenings?
  22. Whats it being towed by? An equally baller truck?
  23. Yeah I don't think my ABS has ever come on unless it's hit a wet drain cover.
