  1. Might be out but have a deadline Monday so will more than likely be doing that.
  2. Agreed, not sure you're gonna make an Astra van look any better than that!
  3. My take on it is: As the rear wheel is placed on the higher holes, the bb rise will decrease (think about putting the rear wheel ontop of the seatstay instead of below) And HA will get slacker.
  4. That was a weird video... There were some lines (drop gap to rail in particular) that were huge, then some things (like the tap, hooky things etc) that didn't seem up to the rest of the video. Either way, i enjoyed it
  5. As per usual... I like the idea of New Zealand or Western Australia but have been to neither so can't comment.
  6. A washer either side of each jockey wheel.
  7. You've seen a 74Kingz been used tensioning up with no slack because frames have different length chainstays, people use different gearing, and some chains stretch more than others. An old mech can look good, and maybe its just my old ways but i'd rather something worked than looked good. Rohloffs can use a wide chain, may need a spacer either side of the jockey wheel though. I think everyones given you the answer (get a double wheeled tensioner), if you wanna take the (good) advice and solve your problems then do it, if not carry on with a skipping chain that may or may not sort its self out over time.
  8. Thats why you need a double wheeled tensioner, to take up the slack. An old mech would do.
  9. You're 18? Riding was ok, editing was ok, random brand names flashed at the end though, not sure why that was.
  10. Not taking the piss but you work in the jump/trials area of the bike shop you work in right? http://ns-bikes.com/
  11. What caliper is it? If its anything but an Avid/other post mount type it won't work.
  12. Its weird that one, as you can only use it with a tiny sprocket on the rear, and I've no idea what kind of DH rider uses singlespeed or a geared hub, seems like a bad idea to me! Anyway, my Rohloff has been nothing but sunshine and fluffy dogs tails.
  13. I thought you worked in a bike shop and were up to date with all the latest trials/jump bikes?
  14. Hay good job guys! Alex Dark - Where were you brother?
  15. Pretty sure they're designed to work with the Rohloff Speedhub (internally geared) which are found on touring bikes, commuting bikes etc., no one runs singlespeed for anything other than trials/geared hubs/some xc'ers.
  16. What, because Rohloffs are designed for trials?!
  17. Tried up tensioning it? You just need a double wheel tensioner (Rohloff style) such as a DA BOMB as its cheaper.
  18. You need more chain wrap.
  19. Its what I'm rolling on (well, the older version) and its been fine for a couple of years now. The only problem I've had is the disk side spokes snapping, think I went through all 14 of them because they appeared to be cheap shitty plain guage ones. Swapped them to DT's and now its golden.

    Bb Trouble

I guess so, yeah? It won't harm it, so give it a go.

Try harder? Put tool in a vice and use frame as leverage. MAKE SURE YOU UNDO THE CORRECT WAY!
  22. Controls are pretty light, flexy forks generally. I've had a couple of pairs now, and its pretty good for wheelswaps/batmans/stuff like that as you get extra bounce out of them.
