Same here, had standard Koxx browns on the Czar and they were really good, then got the Brown Crocos on the Yaabaa and they are awesome too. Crocos appear to have a little more bite and noise at the detriment of a small amount of hold, but not really noticeable.

Have a go and see how you get on for the first couple of times, rather than setting yourself X number of lengths before you even know what you're cabable of. Then start with a number of lengths you're nearly comfortable with, and increase it by a couple of lengths each time you go? I'm no swimmer but thats how I;d go about it! Good luck

You need more chain wrap. Get a double wheeled tensioner (Rohloff style) if you don't already.
