They would have done a sharp light grind. Either way, it doesn't really matter. If your brake is slipping, regrind. If that makes it better then thats cool, if not look at changing pad/grind style/riding style/pad set up etc. You only need to regrind once your brake is no longer as good as it was, theres no set time limit on this.

Depends on: Rim Type of grind Pads Riding style Frequency of riding Some rims are harder and hold grinds better than others. Deep grinds will last longer. Soft pads won't wear down the grind as quick as harder ones. If you manual with your brake on alot, it'll wear down very quickly. If you ride every day it could only last a couple of weeks if that, if you ride once a year it could last 4 years, who knows.

Tell them all your trials riding friends will laugh at you if you don't have the 'in' components on your bike.

This is for trials right? Get a Maxxis single ply 2.35 super tacky, seriously. You don't want a wide, heavy tyre up front for no reason, will make learning a lot harder!

Solid is a bit of a loose statement though isn't it, as someone else said, what if there was new evidence after the triggers been pulled, even though beforehand the evidence looked 'solid'? I agree with manual labour style work, like community service but more tightly controlled. What about people who are in fact reformed by their experience? Take londons biggest gangsters, The Krays, for example. One of them now actively tries to help people with problems after he found God whist in prison (what was God doing in prison i hear you ask). Yep, you want as little weight as possible out front. Look at anyone who rides a bike well, and they'll be running a 2.0 - 2.35 tyre up front. most use a Try-All stiky or Maxxis 2.35 single ply super tacky. These offer good grip, enough puncture protection, light weight, fairly big carcass to aid grip and are cheaper than the Comp 32.

Try setting them up really close to the rim so theres not much room for it to actually catch and twist out?

Seriously, don't get that tyre or anything over a 2.35 for the front. That goes for trials especially, but also mtbs.

It'll go on your rim, but: A : Doubt it will go through your frame B: That probably weighs near on 2kg C :Theres no need for something that wide
