I dunno why you guys thing anyone who didn't like the video rides 24", does freeride and hates any unless its a vid with 360 spins in. I ride 26", in a compy style, and am about as far away from 'ridign a 24' as possible. And yet I thought the vid was shit. Music taste ( I quite liked it) and clothing aside, if the rider made all the sidehops (by that I mean stayed on) then thats cool, but he didn't. He can sidehop fairly high by the looks of things, I would have thought he can gap pretty well too? And maybe do some other sort of move, such a a wheelswap to gap, whatever. Put some variation in and it'd make it a much better vid.

I'm rolling on an original Deng lever with magura cylinders and its fine, as is Rob. Porter is rolling on a new SL lever with magura cylinders and thats fine too.

If they're anything other than an ISO mount you'll have to check with them what tool they have, as the Hope one doesn't fit non-ISO. Most stores now carry a Hope one as they're so much cheaper than the competitors. Tartybikes can face forks for you, and do +20/+30 mounts too.

Had a very quick blast on Stan's Hydroxx at koxx days, and didn't really get a feel for the hold on the flat bit of ground, but the bite was really good, and the hold looked really good too. Will be getting some ASAP!

Er... i dunno about Giaco's shoes, they looked kinda custom. But Le coq sportif's they definately wern't. Are you getting confused with Gilles' La Sportiva shoes (similar to these)? La Sportiva are a pretty well known climbing/outdoor company.

Yeah man come along, Plymouth would probably be easier to get to and learn stuff in that its generally 'easier' to ride street stuff, and theres stuff for all abilities there. Having said that, riding Dartmoor early on is a great thing to do, I'm just not 100% on what easier stuff there is to do other than a few little bits.

What a dissapointment.

Everyone make sure you bring sandwiches as there are no shops within a few miles. I have my emergency group shelter and James has his first aid kit so we should be well equipped for a day on the moor.
