  1. If one link has snapped then they're all gonna snap pretty soon, they've all had the same stress on them... Of course its going to snap over and over again And can't be arsed to buy a new chain?! I spose it isn't exactly an important part of a trials bike. Anyways, I've had 2 KMC 610HX chains, both have been great. My spare one arrived today, too. Definately reccomend them.
  2. People have all given their thoughts on what car to buy - With a £16k budget and a VERY loose brief on what he wants his car to do, people are going to have a different opinion to you.
  3. Could you afford the upkeep of a Porsche/BMW?
  4. Good stuff Steve, really enjoyed it
  5. No. They run on different fluids and piston ratios.
  6. Yeah there definately wasn't a f**king huge bang when he landed the first gap... Riding was ok if a bit boring

    Ben Lazenby

Read this in the Times today, thoughts go out to family, friends and fans.
  8. If you ordered before 3.30 then i'm not sure, I guess send them out together? If you ordered them just now they'll send them tommorow anyways... Not sure, sorry
  9. Says they're meant to be available tommorow.

    Tar?

    Can you backhop?
  11. Probably bubblewrap filled with helium.
  12. Have you tried it with a steel Shimano squewer? I know they're not that light () and not as pimp as Hope ones, but in my experience they hold way better, and you can crank them up loads. They're likely to be alot stiffer than a ti QR. Can't really comment on going from non-HD QR to HD bolted, but I've never had any problems with any of the bolted set ups I've ever had.
  13. Ah yeah, true... Forgot about those little buggers. If it has a grub screw (2.5mm-ish) then it'll be a HD axle as Adam said
  14. Good stuff Chris, cool to see you're still riding!
  15. It'll mean its a standard axle. Get 2 allen keys, wedge them in either side of the axle (where the QR would go) and turn anti-clockwise. if something comes off the end, it'll be a standard axle. If nothing happens, its a HD axle and has a lockring with an imperial size allen key grub screw to undo it.
  16. Hard to tell from that pic, but if its not listed then its probably a standard axle. Does it have 2 5mm hex openings each end of the axle? If its standard, then probably £170-£200 for the full wheel, if HD maybe £190-£220 or so.
  17. Dude, you should probably not be quite so rude to those who are possibly about to help you out. You joined yesterday.
  18. Alex Dark - Do you still want that Try-All tyre? I brought it to Dartmoor the other weekend but you wern't there. If its not in Porters van I'll bring it along if i remember. Also I think we should have a best trick competition.
  19. I can, but seems to be the version from the other day... They updated with the Yaabaa streety frame and full bike, but now its not showing on the new products bar.
  20. I like an Audi RS6 estate better than a Ford Fiesta because you can fit more shopping in the boot.

    Speeding Points

Is his mum insured on the car and all that?
  22. Generally speaking they're lighter, and move the weight into the centre of the bike which means more enjoyment. Can't use FFW on Middleburns.
  23. Is it free to ride on the Saturday? Are you able to ride Saturday if you havn't entered the Sunday/Monday comps? Who are the Elite riders (says invitation only type thang)?
