  1. Shit I'd imagine - 70a middle is pretty f**kin hard!
  2. Best vid I've seen for ages.
  3. Well they're 'just' the original CRMs in new CNC backings, yeah.
  4. Good stuff, I like the design

    Pad Reviews

TNN CRM pads: Right, rode these for about 6 hours today, so will give my first impressions. Set up: Deng CNC lever, Echo blade, Magura cylinders, water bleed, standard hose. On a Yaabaa with a Try-All booster and standard magura mounts. Rim: Try-All, medium fairly unsharp grind, partially covered in horse shit/dust combo from the other day, was rolling on Koxx browns which had amazing hold but not much bite on this set up. Whacked them on, and wore them in dragging the brake down a hill for a bit, straight to the most horrible, pointy, shitty rocks I know of. The bite and noise was pretty amazing, almost straight out the box. These are seriously loud and have really good bite. Hold was pretty good straight away, not as good as koxx browns but only slipped on very cambered rocks trying to hop up them. After riding with them for a few hours, they wore in a bit, and the bite and noise got better/louder. Moved onto street shit and there was no slippage at all, really good stuff. If you don't like noisy brakes, don't buy these. They have amazing sound and bite, and very good hold. They're also really stiff due to the lovely backings. Definately worth the price so far, again will update on wear rates and all that later.

  7. And why if you get water in the engine of a car it f**ks its self over because it can't compress like air can.
  8. If you're gonna wirte it in massive letters, at least check that what you're saying is right.
  9. Agreed... Go to Ogwen and ride some rocks and film it to see how they perform. But cool dog anyways.
  10. Fitted mine just now (cheers Ali and Ad!), was looking at the machining, dribbled a bit and it went in the hole, so pushed on fine. Thats as far as I've got this afternoon, they feel alot stiffer than my old Koxx Browns and look pretty nice. Will update this with a proper review once I've actually used 'em for a while.
  11. Trialtechs are really good products, and stand by them wholeheartedly... But Try-Alls do have replaceable bearings. You can't go wrong with either to be honest.
  12. Could go with: Ditching both heavy duty tubes and just running standard or lightweight ones - I've never run anything but shitty standard tubes, and never had a problem. Change rear tyre to a Continental Rubber Queen Change front tyre to a Try-All or Continental Mountain King This will lose you alot of weight. If you wanna change wheels, look into Try-All rims on whatever kind of light hubs you want/fit in your price range. Everything you need can be found on tartybikes.co.uk. Give them a ring in the morning if you need some more help, they'll be able to sort you out with anything you need
  13. Luke was being sarcasmstic, I thought it might have been Bone Hill from the pics, but didn't read the fact you said it was indeed Bone Hill.
  14. Nothing to do with pads. Bleed it and see if it still does it. Lube the pistons.
  15. Yes it will and no, no-one knows when.
  16. Fluid makes a difference in the feel of the brake. Oil = thicker, and therefore slightly harder to pull at the lever. Waterbleeds are just running water instead of oil in the brake.
  17. As of today I'm rolling on: Deng CNC lever with '08 Echo blade Standard magura hose and cylinders Finest Devonshire water bleed Koxx Brown pads As of tommorow I'll have TNN pads.
  18. Was from like 4/5 years ago... Makes it even better in my eyes!
  19. I so didn't read that, but FUC K YEAH for recognising a place due to a small rock.
  20. Jon Granger because I've seen him ride and he is a local so must be the best.
  21. Was that taken at Bone Hill?
  22. Saw this on Facebook, amazing! They're such ballers.
  23. Your points are null and void in this situation anyway, because you've ignored what he wants.
