  1. Does anyone remember Austen/Austin (who quit to become a hairdresser?) who said he could tap pretty f**king high?
  2. Yeah they look good, I'm more of a foam sole kinda man though. I didn't really like my Basics.
  3. I've had a Try-All isis one for about 5 month now and its been perfect. I bought it because they have replaceable bearings, which is what I usually kill.
  4. Scott Wilson rides herne bay a fair bit I believe, I've not ridden it personally. Toad/Wellington rocks is really good though, which isn't a million miles away. But I'm now in Devon full time so not able to hang.
  5. I usually prefer more pressure for natural stuff to stop roll and that.
  6. The tf rumour mill had nothing to do with it, but I get what you're saying.
  7. Would do, don't really know what his name is or anything, but he's on here somewhere.
  8. Said he didn't reckon there would be much but he doesn't know? Didn't exactly sound like a 'nope, i've covered every square inch and theres definately nothing to ride' Anyways... Theres a matey on here from Mumbai, he's about as good a source as any.
  9. Check him out on youtube, type in 'my new haircut' which is one of his more famous vids. Rich - I'm not sure Jamie is Clive's best mate as it were.
  10. A bear so I could live out my fantasy of fucking another bear.
  11. I made a ghetto star nut thang when I wanted to use a Try-All sloping stem on my trialtechs. I cut the 'mushroom' top off the screw in bolt, found an M5 nut with a small ridge around the bottom on Porter's dashboard, screwed the threaded bit into my forks with the nut on the bottom, put in a normal top cap and bolt and there we are. All info courtesy of Mr. Tarty Adam.
  12. She was in my year at school, I taught her how to do a mortice and tenon joint in DT.

  14. Agreed. Sure, they can make you look like you belong in a wheelchair, but once they get scuffed and muddy and that they look better. Performance wise I can't fault 'em.
  15. Nah they're cool, Phil is a good lad who will sort you out
  16. Porter bey is rolling on a Rain King. Bike looks good jack!

    Help !

Can you open them up? not sure you can. If you can, I guess it'd be clockwise as it'd be a reverse thread?
  18. I use five ten freerunners which Ali C also uses, and are pretty similar to those used by Gilles.
  19. This tool and a big vice and a long pole.
  20. I just use a set of big-ish needlenose pliers, the ends are pretty much a perfect fit in the holes and gives you some leverage.
