Not really as I tend to ride natural and comp style but I grew up riding street on a jump bike and like to manual where possible. I also have a background in dual slalom / jump stuff so that helps with the faster stuff.
USE forks, Saracen Xtort frames, Michelin Hot S (in red obviously), Tioga Factory DH tyres, Shimano silent clutch hubs, Azonic DW bars, Whitehurst.
Oh wait... Good stuff?
I did, yeah. Fair enough, each to their own. When I had an XTR lever and linear slic cable and set it up well, it was easier to pull than a brand new hope mono trials. EDIT: this was a front, I had forgotten we were talking about rears.
Ignore him, he is a moron who can't ride for shit and therefore has no useful input.
For what it's worth, lever feel can be greatly improved with a decent set up, decent cable and decent lever.
Got into riding sorta DH and XC originally, did that side by side with trials for a while but he had a few injuries back to back and moved more into road riding and XC.
Now races XC and road.
I went on to tartys to show the stupid amount of rebranded MG-1s but they've all mysteriously dissappeared. Anyway, point being those MG-1s that arn't MG-1's probably are MG-1s just not branded as such. I seem to remember Tarty had Try-all, trialtech, and welgo branded ones, each identical just a ~£40 price difference
