  1. Evolution was aftr the Ds1 wasn't it? With squarer tubes rather than round... If so, nah
  2. If your only experience of 'old skool' bikes is a T-master, you don't really have much weight behind your statement.
  3. Because Luke enjoys a bit of bum fun now and again.

    Bad Knee's?

Yep, all of us lot have bad knees, and all take Glucosamine and chondritin supplements. Can be bought from Holland and Barret etc. My writs, hips, ankles and elbows all click after i've been sat down/not moved for a while.
  5. Sorry not everyone knows everything there is to know about bikes people.
  6. Its hard because you can't be on everyones doorstep... But 2 in Yorkshire and one in Derbyshire seems fairly concentrated. Good to see Barrow farm for th SE boys, and Fort William for the real northerners.
  7. Me and my beys (5), Alex Dark and his beys (1938735897324), ANDREI BLOODY BURTON and Joe Seddon (2), Rich Pearson (1), Kieran Whitefield (1) The Plymouth honkeys (3) thats without mentioning those who ride now and again. Should come down, Bessel knows whats going down, ask him for details
  8. Thats what I'm sayin big boy... And theres at least 3 tors I know with that much riding. Trouble is no one wants to travel down this far. Pretty sure there was a British round held on dartmoor back in the day.
  9. What are the ins and outs (politics wise) of holding a comp on Dartmoor? On National park land as opposed to Kelly farm. Any big problems?
  10. Yeah I've run a try-all sloping topcap on Trialtechs using a KUSTOM star nut arrangement, ran that trouble free for about 3 months till my stem cracked, swapped to a normal King topcap and have run that on a TT stem for nearly a year, no probs.
  11. Thats bloody brilliant thanks for the update.
  12. If its got CLS stickers on it definately was his at some point.
  13. To be honest I wouldn't have thought you'd have many worries about snapping forks? Do many taps/hooks? I'd go for try-all but check for cracks around the of of the disk mount.
  14. Scrap what i said before, Portland it is. Will be there with cookybey tommorow.

    Commute To Work

5 in a car there, 5 in a car back. 5 on a bike there, 10 on a bike back (up a hill).
  16. Fold-off-the-rim-ability even on stock? When I say trials I mean stock A front try-all with kevlar bead would be amazing, as it removes weight without compromising grip/puncture resistance. No problems regarding their kevlar bead with the newer front conti tyres that I've heard of?
  17. I dunno, only had experience of stock, but especially on the front kevlar is fine, not tried for the rear but I'd imagine they could combat any problems with a thicker/slightly tighter bead. I dunno why it would make any difference what the material of the bead is made of? Is kevlar stretchier or something?
  18. Probably won't be riding either but Portland is better I reckon.
  19. Not sure why kevlar hasn't really come into trials tyres yet, seems logical.
  20. f**k me that wallride from stone circle to festival hall at the end is nuts. Cheers John!
  21. Could probably rig something up without using a vice. But they are generally butted up against a metal lip. So pressing them in till they hit the lip is easy. Pushing them out from the other side when there is a lip in the way can be tricky.
  22. I just push 'em in. No real trick to it. Getting the f**ked ones out whole is harder usually.
