Right, so I've been in this trials game for a while now and when myself and others of my vintage were young we had f**k all to teach us how to do stuff. No trials forum, no youtube, no vimeo.
What we learnt from was trials VHS (big, square DVDs to you real younguns) vids such as Evolve, Revolution, Chainspotting and mainly from Tricks and Stunts - Martyn Ashton, Martin Hawyes and Hans Rey's best vid ever made of all time. You might think its old skool, but all of it applies to YOUR riding. We all learnt to balance on 2 wheels before we even thought about getting on the back wheel. You'll notice alot of youngr riders having poor balance on 2 wheels, because they started to run before they could walk.
Anyways, Go to your local Halfords, borrow a mates, try and find it on the internet, but MAKE SURE you watch Tricks and Stunts by the Martyins a few times. Good to do in the evenings now its dark.
Once you get those techniques down, move onto The Art Of Bi-King - Tricks and Stunts 2. This is a bit more advanced and slightly more up to date.
I don 't wanna sound like a complete p rick but straight up 100% if you watch these and practise what you see, you will most definately become a better rider.
