  1. Wil probs be up for a dartmoor ride on Sat, Bone Hill is easiest to park/navigate to and all that.
  2. Not really neccesary most of the time. Everyone has their own tried and tested methods, mine being burning the pads in a bath of meths.
  3. Yeah I've been to Cheesewhatsit quarry a couple times but never found it all that great really.
  4. Cool get some pics of the actual riding when you're there next
  5. SOUTHWEST (and Porthcawl and Northampton) CREW REPRAZENT.
  6. S'alright dont worry about it, we couldn't really be arsed to ride much anyways so ended up freaking on bitches on the hoe.
  7. Man I was dissapointed as f**k, came all the way from Tiverton JUST for this ride.
  8. Nope, because they'd be out of date by the time you read them, you can get all the info for free online so no one would buy them.
  9. I got R66 NDW for a present.
  10. If you know Ali go to Tartybikes with your mums cheque book and ride whatever bikes you like the look of, pick one and pay for it then bash it into walls.
  11. Exactly... I know of one thats broken, and thats the first I've heard of any bad press. Mine has been excellent, cant fault it.
  12. I'll stay away then haha... Nah only jokin, i'm a right joker me. Anyways what bike do you ride? Come down the mean streets of Tivvy much? I'm usually hanging round Tescos at lunch time, wil come say hi if you give me an identifier.
  13. Don't be put off by the northern TGS boys and girls being all about sidehops, not everyone likes that kinda thang. Take yesterdays ride here in sunny Devon for example - 3 yaabaas, a 24" leeson with a seat, a 24" inspired with a seat all riding rocks together, then all riding street together with the yaabaa boys throwing down wall rides, bunnyhops spins and all kinda tomfoolery. But then thats 'cos the South West is the place to be and everyone here is safe as houses son.
  14. Well good vid, makes me wanna go back... Herman seems like a bey, some good riding up in huure.
  15. Why not? Twatting a weld against a rock on a super light top of the range comp frame isn't gonna end well. Thats like saying 'this F1 car costs millions, cant believe it fell to bits after I crashed into a wall'

    How old is your chain?
  17. Right, so I've been in this trials game for a while now and when myself and others of my vintage were young we had f**k all to teach us how to do stuff. No trials forum, no youtube, no vimeo. What we learnt from was trials VHS (big, square DVDs to you real younguns) vids such as Evolve, Revolution, Chainspotting and mainly from Tricks and Stunts - Martyn Ashton, Martin Hawyes and Hans Rey's best vid ever made of all time. You might think its old skool, but all of it applies to YOUR riding. We all learnt to balance on 2 wheels before we even thought about getting on the back wheel. You'll notice alot of youngr riders having poor balance on 2 wheels, because they started to run before they could walk. Anyways, Go to your local Halfords, borrow a mates, try and find it on the internet, but MAKE SURE you watch Tricks and Stunts by the Martyins a few times. Good to do in the evenings now its dark. Once you get those techniques down, move onto The Art Of Bi-King - Tricks and Stunts 2. This is a bit more advanced and slightly more up to date. I don 't wanna sound like a complete p rick but straight up 100% if you watch these and practise what you see, you will most definately become a better rider.
  18. f**k 'em, they're talking shit.
