  1. Kinda depends what you're after really, its kinda like gloves or a helmet, everyone prefers their own thing. I have an Evoc Freeride Trail 20 which serves me well but is £107 so fairly pricey. I also have a Camelbak Octane 20 lightweight bag for mtbing. I've found between 15 and 25 litres is about what most people use. If its just for trials things like a bladder arn't really neccesary as you're not riding with the bag on. If you plan on doing any mtbing it might be worth a look. Alot of climbing/walking bags are well made (Osprey etc) but for round town it can look like you've got lost from the moors. Chainreaction has a fair selection to look at and see what you're after.
  2. It doesn't, really. I've not touched my brake for about 6 months, maybe more now and its still golden. The less you f**k with it the better it'll work.
  3. Better filmed/produced than 99% of trials vids, but was funny how they tried to make it gnarcore as f**k like a bmx vid.
  4. Sounds like it needs bedding in then. Don't touch anything and just ride with it.
  5. Six years ago, dang.
  6. Real good frames, bike looks sweet. We've found there arn't any specific places they snap, either. 3 have them have gone in 3 different places each relating to different riding styles.
  7. Exactly what I was gonna say... All the cleaning, changing disks and pads etc just means it won't work for a good few rides after. Does it make a noise when its wet?

    Ben Rowlands

Loved it Ben, far from sketchy!
  9. Martin is still about, moved from Saltash to live with his wife in the east somewhere. Still rides now and again, was out on Saturday infact.

    Get2

    Get on, looks good.
  11. Meths on disk, take pads out and put in a small bath of meths (cut off coke can, fill to just above pads) and set alight.
  12. Yeah get the TR. No it shouldn't skip.
  13. Fully grown men have been using levers like that for years. An 8 year old will be fine.
  14. SL, don't bother with anything else (except maybe TR if you cant afford SL)
  15. Joking aside, we have no problem with people who know nothing about trials or bikes in general. We're not out to exclude everyone who doesn't know the difference in durometer between a super tacky tyre and a Maxxpro.
  16. You can't... The fact is that if everyone was allowed to come onto the board and trade straight away, we'd get alot of people trading shit, scammers etc as there is no control over it. not many people go to the effort of posting good posts and then waiting till they get validated with the sole purpose of scamming someone. People who put effort into their posts and don't type like a retard are also statistically 89% more likely to put effort into going to the post office ontime and sending that star fangled nut you've been waiting for.
  17. Team trials hub is just the green colour I believe. it should state any differences on the Tartybike website. As far as i know its only the pro2 trials and the normal pro2 that have any differences.
