  1. Pleased you enjoyed the sections, a lot of time and effort went into the setting out. My plan was to provide a Trial that would serve to give those going to the World's a bit of a wake up call. There were a lot of side hops, but its very hard to find clean run ups to steps at Back-C. I wanted to take 20 - 25 marks off of the winner in each class, which I got close to, with a couple of exceptions. Well done to all those that completed a hard days Trialing. The results can be found on Biketrial uk's web site. Fred.
  2. The floating system will be available on all KOXX mods in the future. PM me, I'll try to get some pics from the factory or take them myself when the frames arrive. Why do you need it anyway? Fred.
  3. Don't hold your breath! Spoke with the factory about the frame today - at the moment its just a concept design. Unlike other companies, who let the early customers do the testing, KOXX will want to smash some up for a while to see how they last! I'll see if can Waynio the job of test pilot.
  4. Craig, you comming to the event in Mid Wales? We will need help, plus a good man with a camera. Fred.
  5. Regards the price, I don't have all the answers but I'll give it my best shot. The Level Boss was the first full production bike from a new small French company. They were not able to order in huge quantities; it could be that they chose their source poorly. When I first met Dominique Hermance and introduced KOXX to the U.K. he worked from a building behind his home, tiny when compared to the massive building they now own. Any how some years later, they have the ability to buy in huge quantities; they have made new relationships with more efficient suppliers that can build from a ready paid for blue print of a reliable frame. Frame production is a little like printing, get a quote for 10 high quality printed items, then compare it with a price for 10,000. I know that on some items purchased by KOXX they order 10,000 of them. Hence YAABAA. KOXX will always try to push the design boundaries, they do that with the PRO models, they are there for those who want to shave off vital grams or ride cutting edge equipment, but why deny the public the chance of buying "Ol reliable" at a good price, like............................ 999 euros for example. Fred.
  6. Details on price later.
  7. Just had a mail from the factory announcing a new full build from YAABAA. Click on image for further details.

  10. With a little luck the new freewheels should be with us by the weekend. If they arrive in time I will bring some up to TYKES competition. Now I've said this they will be late! I'm keen to see how the production models hold up, the pre production models have lasted well under test. Having the lock ring held in place against the crank arm could prove to be a great advantage, it cannot come loose, seems to be a common fault with some other products.
  11. Craig, feel free to feature any of the riders I help. Fred.
  12. OK! Craig, thanks for your willingness to help out at the weekend. I wish you had asked me to fix your bike, I had the tools to do it. Pleased to hear you enjoyed yourself, sorry to hear about Will's car! Hope its not to bad. I look forward to seeing any footage you produce, why not write your report, I think the forum would enjoy it. Keep in touch, Fred.
  13. Craig, I'm not good at putting forum names to forum faces, so jut for the Ref. were you the "blue haired one"? Fred.
  14. EP's are important to top riders that compete in both BIU and UCI. In UCI comps riders often find themselves in a situation where the next "E" point is to far away to avoid pedel touch, so = 1. KOXX/TRY ALL products are made to meet the needs of comp riders, regardless of compromise. Just to confirm the price will be £49.99. plus p&p, available as soon as I can get a shipment over. Vincent has used the same one since January, it's reliable. PS. Looking at a flat plate removal tool with a 1/2" square aperture to fit a socket ratchet, lowers the rotation point. F.S.
  15. Plans for the sections are taking shape; a local quarry has pledged many tons of local rock. It will be placed alongside the cross country start area, where the Red Bull truck stood last year. We plan to keep the long section by the bar as this drew a good crowd, plus have some new plans for the telephone box. Some of you may not have noticed – the closing date has been extended, so get those entries in. Fred.
  16. Testing; Vincent has been running the same one since January. Thread size; Same as ACS/ENO. Price; As I said 75 Euro is a projected price, if possible I would like to see them retail for £49.99, lets hope the factories sums are not to far out. Fred.

  20. I take your point about the ENO, I will be happy to include that in the spec for any orders placed it will make a good Bike even better. I am not sure that Gold wheels compliment the Bike as much as a Fluo set would, as with other KOXX Bikes the colours are down to the customers choice. Fred.
  21. Could'nt give a firm reply to this post at the time but have news now. KOXX.FR have just released the Bike for sale, with a photograph of the finished item on the front page of their web site. The double disk (Magura) version is priced at £1295. KOXX U.K.

  25. I first saw drawings of the BOW in 02, samples were made in 04, and a frame was built up as a complete bike early in 05 and displayed at KOXX DAYS, along with other products that may or may not reach production. Many thought that that the BOW was the new LEVEL BOSS, being totally unaware of the factories plans to create a new stand alone brand, YABBAA. Having launched and established the new brand the BOW is now in full production as part of the YAABAA range. It will be available in 3 – 4 weeks at a competitive price. If in fact the frame bears any similarity to plans or sketches produced by a third party it would be purely coincidental, history demonstrates that KOXX are the often copied innovators, not the opposite. Fred.
