  1. I am also thinking of the same Idea. I have New Media degree and specialize in web design. Oh yeah I work in a IT department with 11,000 users. I am very skilled in Flash, Dreamweaver, photoshop, illustrator and premier. I like trashzen but I find there is not enough detail. I think the instruction for trials is laggin way behind the growth of the sport. In fact I think it is holding it back big time. I would be willing to help with a joint project.
  2. As a Canadian boy I have one question? WTF is a Chav?
  3. pfft... Chuck Norris did those moves years ago.

    Kevin's Video

Good Job. That pedal punch off the ledge looked like it really hurt. Looks like you are almost ready to evolve to the next level. You may want to cushion you landings a bit more. I think it was just to much for your brake on that bail.
  5. Download photoshop cs2 trial from the website. You can find a key # anywhere on the web to upgrade to a full version. But beware as it is illegal.
  6. If it is photoshop, I am your man. the best way to select the data from an image is to either put a boundry around it ( Lasso ). Or the second which I always use is to either paint the area you would like selected or erase everything around what you want. Be sure to have two layers each with a copy of the image you are to edit. That way you always have a fresh copy to start with again. Use the quick mask mode and paint what you want to pull out of the image or manipulate. Once you switch back to standard mode you will have selection around what you had painted, but with no paint. Now you can always get that selection back by control clicking the layer you had worked on. Or you can erase everything around the object you would like to separate or isolate. My trick of the trade is to have a layer as a white background, to see if there are any unwanted pixels. And another layer with a black background to find more unwanted pixels. Just click on the eye icon for each layer to toggle them off and on. This gives the best cutouts.
  7. I usually have small kids ask me all the time. I try to let them ride it and promote trials. It makes me feel special. If it is someone older they gotta have a bike similiar in value for me to hold on to while they test it out. If you don't want them to ride it, just say it is too dangerous for them and they would need to sign a waiver.

    Poor Benito

Thats not Benito, it is Side Show Bob from the simpsons.
  9. Thanks guys, I do believe I understand where I have been falling short in technique. I think it is going to be tuff to jump and stroke at the same time. ( Ahem... we are talking Trials here...)
  10. So are you saying basically the pedal up is a manual with a jumping motion after the stroke? I just find it hard to jump up when my feet are in front of me and not under me, that is why I feel I must pull back on the handle bars. I can do the pedal up at times, but I am kinda guessing when I do it. I wish I could tape myself and just show you video so you could see what I am doing wrong.
  11. Yeah in Canada where i live, which is right in the center. Winter is - 40 to -50 celcius for 3 to 4 weeks at a time. Winter is 7 to 8 months long. I just started trials this summer. I wonder if I will remember anything when spring comes again?
  12. I have watched a ton of video in slow motion on this skill but I just cannot seem to get it totally correct. I always find that when I do the 1 3/4 stroke and try to jump. I pull on the handle bars too hard and the back wheel shoots forward. I mean if the front wheel is comming up from the stroke, there is almost no torque to pull your center of mass forward and up? Confused, but close therefore frustrated.
  13. Sweet! Wow some of the bails are painfull, and some are very expensive. One can only pray nobody dies or gets hurt very badly.
  14. Wow, great feedback guys. I am feeling a little better now that I have not rode for a few days. I think I will need at least two weeks off before I can feel at least normal. I also start some physio next week. I play alot of sports and I can honestly say Trials riders are athletes. I wonder if people understand how much training and pain is involved? Oh yeah don't forget about the expense of your ride.
  15. Yeah the more I think of it, my problems occured after riding with people who were more advanced. We did a full night of riding and literally had gone to new heights. It was the next day or day after I was gibbled. Does anybody know of any proper stretches or warmups for training?
