  1. I would reccomend the 4 bolt echo booster as i own 1 and have had no problems. I would not get the 2 bolt one as they do not stop all the flex. 1 problem witht the 4 bolt booster is that they are harder to set up than the 2 bolt but they are stronger an prevent any flex.
  2. I had a mission prodigy and they are like a tank! You can bash anything with them as they are so heavy and strong. Saying that i did crack the forks but got them re-welded. Now upgraded to a zona zip. I would not bother about upgrading with good bits such as cranks as it is only a mission and is a starter bike. If you cannot afford a new bike at the moment and are stuck with the mission i would recommend getting a new chain as they are really weak. Don't want to be gapping and then it snaps
  3. They were as tight as i could get them, obviously not enough
  4. Good riding and you do have balls. Also how old are you in that video, look quite young and what pads are you running. They seemed to hold quite well especially after that drop where you leaned right back.
  5. MISSIONS YEAH thats what i started on as well and i even have a zona zip as well.
  6. I'm not sure what you are running whether it be ISIS or not but if you are running square tapered then i would reccomend that you should buy an ISIS bottom bracket and then get ISIS cranks. Reason being is that i have rounded 2 pairs of square tapered cranks and with ISIS this will not round as easy. I would say get the echo 7075 bashring as it is reasonably and you get a choice of trendy colours. (hint hint gold )
  7. If you want a brake cable then i would recommend the odyssey linear slik cable as it is only £5 and you can get it from any reasonably good bike shop. These cable are really sharp and also are strong and they are also quite hard to fray aswell. Also it can come in a trendy blue
  8. The worst i have done was take a chunk ou the wall and this snapped by bash gurad bolt There were a lot of people about aswell :$
  9. What is the worst damage you have done to a wall or structure and has there been anyone to see this? Maybe you may have some pictures of the damage. Did you also damage your bike in the process?
  10. Looks a good kit to buy but if i were buying then i would really want to handle the frame to see if there are any cracks that the seller may not have spotted or not be telling you
  11. My advice would to learn the basics first which involve pedal hopping ad hopping on the back wheel mainly. This takes time and the easiest way to learn is to just to endo and then let the momentum swing you back to your rear wheel. From there try and hold it on the back wheel and just jump literally in the air and pull up on the bars using your knees to help spring you up. If this doesn't help then look on www.trashzen.com and this will give you videos and more in depth tips. Hope i helped
  12. Just wondering if anyone supports you in trials and if so have they ever watched you at a competition or just out with your mates. Also are they very keen on you doing trials? My folks know i do trials and they don't stop me from doing it but they don't exactly watch me either My mates mum really doesn't like him doing trials, she thinks it dangerous. What about your folks and anyone who supports you, if any?
  13. Go to tartybikes.co.uk and get the zoo riser bars. They are £35.00 but are really worth it and you can choose which colours you want as well By the way no one has cracked at set either, (from what i have heard) so they are really strong. With tarty it is next day delivery as well and they are really helpful. I recommend there site for all your bike parts.
  14. As people have already said lower your front but not too far as you will kick and go over your bars Also when you have lowered your front kick really hard and throw your weight forward and push the bars in the air. You really have to exagerate this movement and push your bars like you are pushing them into the sky. This will help you with propulsion. Just keep practicing using the techniques myself and people have said and you should improve a lot with your gapping or hopping as you call it. If none of this helps and you really are confused then go to www.trashzen.com and they have pictures and videos.
  15. Cheers mate still looking for any cheaper ones though on a budget
  16. I have used the search but have had no luck. So here it goes: Who knows where i can get a front avid bb7 from with or without a lever either new or second hand. Also does anyone know the price of this. Much appreciated.
  17. I always where shorts as jeans tend to get caught in my freewheel and it is a pain in the arse and on a hot day you feel much cooler in shorts The main problem with wearing shorts is if you slip the peddle you have no protection on your shins or anything
  18. Really good bars as they are a good riser and are wide that gives you more control over your bike. You can get the onza bars but they are not risers (i think) but they are wider if you prefer wide bars. I would buy new zoo bars if i were you as i have found that if you buy second hand then they tend to not be as wide for some reason and the new ones seem wider. Get the gold ones they look awesome (from tartybikes)
  19. Where are you getting one because i was going to get one of cleanbikes but they are sold out and don't know when they are getting their new frames in.
  20. I would suggest searching for pad reviews and see which pads are the best for your rims etc because you don't need a grind to have a good brake unless of course you intend to ride in wet conditions. You could try some tar on your rims aswell. But if you still feel you need an angle grinder then you can hire them from your local plant hire. Or of course borrow one from a mate.
  21. I have pallets that i drag out when im bored and also there are some logs around my area that are great to mess about on
  22. You could tighten the lockring by using something small and pointy for example: an old spoke or a small screwdriver and insert into one of the little holes on the freewheel and turn until tight. If the tensile is faulty then depending where you got it from, you could get a refund as long as it is still under its warrantee.
  23. we found out the other night that kissing the front wheel before you hop really does help
