Hey, sold my frame and ended up getting my trusty old control back. been around alot, nice frame, second time ive owned it ! (I cracked it first time i had it :$ ). Anyway, ive been toying with the idea of brakeless riding with a tgs sort of style so im giving it ago, cracked my zoo forks too so its got my old ones on ! Also managed to get it running without a chain tensioner too so it feels really solid on the drive. Anyway enough with the talking, not the best pics dont really do it justice but its sickk. they are flexible but provide alot of protection, alot of begginers do it, you may be better off zip tying some thing more solid to the stay. I strongly recommend that you do not weld anything to it, see if you can get away with ziptying/jubilee clipping a peice of aluminium/steel/carbon fibre to the stay, even a length of hose will provide some protection !
