my local enginering firm did a couple for me and i thin they charged £2.00 each or something, not too bad and saves you the hastle, the bloke appologised for the price being too high because thye were a better standerd insert.

yeah you can use evo mounts, you get them when you buy a new set of maggies, there should be loads for sale on here

why wouldnt it be ok? i run a rear 26inch one of these and its fine with a maggy although i have a grind and heatsink blues and its still to slip on me. but with out a grind im not sure which pads would be best to use.

your making iolo sound crap which they definately are not.

i may be wrong but apparently fat mikes only snapped because he wanted the chain stays to be brazed onto the bb in a strange way to get the rear end as short as possibale, and iolo said he wasnt comfortable making it that way but he will try it. please correct me if im wrong.

ive got a set and there tripple butted i belive, great bars and i picked them up second hand in mint condiion for cheap

depends how worn the sprocket is, if its had it just cut it off its alot easier
