Hi, About a week and a bit ago a nasty sqwelching noise started coming from my bb, freewheel or chain and I dont have a clue what it is, loose bottom bracket? Sounds stupid but it actualy sounds like when you have a really wet shoe when your walking along, I also run granny chains, but never used to make this nosie. Tim.

hey guys, 07 echo rim is awsum... mines taken a few hard bashes and didnt even put a scratch on the sidewalls.. but first grind is really hard as the sidewalls are painted, also it comes in real nice colours! tim.

Hi, after very late desicion a small group of us are going to ride bristol tommorow... anyone else up for it? we don't know bristol too well and if somone could show us the scene would be most apreciated! we know about castle park and the harbour, any other awsum places around bristol? were catching the 11.12 from trowbridge and arriving at 11.46 so we'll be at castle park at around 12/12.15. hopefully see you tommorow. what! sorry but i think thats the worst load of s**t ive heard, echo are a top brand in trials and almost all echo components are solid, the only problem with the 06 echo rim was that its pretty much flat so all the pressure wasn't distrabuted through the spokes and all the presure was on the rim, also the drilled holes were far too big!... thats why its so weak. what have you got to say about monty components, most of there frames snap, there cranks snap like burnt wood! tim.

yes max.. that rim is the 06 echo rim doesnt everyone know that they are very weak!! theres no point in saying look how s**t echo rims are heres mine... and its the 06! bet noones got any pics of an 07 echo flat?? ive also ordered 07 echo rim. why would echo make another rim like the 06, the 07 looks pretty dam strong and i hear last weekend neil t was ridding with an 07 and praising it. tim.

ive taken all spokes and as i already said, but i kind of buggerd 2 up.. tried to bodge true my wheel with a pair of pliers and i made the nipple ovel shape so spoke doesnt screw in, do you think my lbs will have right size and strength? Tim.

yeaaah.. it happend to me twice, either get it tapped to m6 or helicoiled, i got mine tapped and there holding out fine. teaches you a lesson though, be more careful with magura mounts. Tim.

Hi, i almost got it.. i bent about 3 or 4 spokes not too bad for a first attempt. i think now i'll just get new spokes as the ones i have now are obviusly going to be weaker but now i need to know what size to get, i think its 185mm but not sure, i have a echo screw in hub http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=227 and echo 07 rim, can anyone tell me the exact size i need? thanks Tim.

yeh, i'm keeping same hub and spokes and same size rim so i'm not going to need different length spokes had the 06 echo, getting 07 as i gave the 06 a few flat spots and it got dodgy. Tim.

Hi, i've got a new rim coming so i have to un-spoke my rim, i tried before but i bent about 10 spokes, i just unscrewed and pulled out and i don't want to spend another 10£ buying new spokes this time! is there any pattern i have to do? thanks Tim.

ZONA 100% all onzas just totaly suck i think. 9 out of ten onzas are known to crack and dent like tin foil! t mags just look cheap i think, zonas also ride much nicer but not quite as nice as a zoo python!! Tim.

yes but that was the 06 echo rim that was really weak, i heard the 07 was strong and held grinds really well compared to the try-all ?? opinions? Tim

hi, i didnt think you could run vee's with 4 bolts (probrably wrong) your better off just getting maguras, second hand.. 30£ max what frame have you got now then? tim.

i thought there was ment to be a gap between the gusset and the frame? i think there was but there is no gap in my top bolt bash plate guuset... bent in? tim.
