Ehm eat healthy shit but don't do the ooh this is diet or hey it's the low fat version (don't know if you guys in the UK are getting bombarded with this crap) diet means cheap aspartame rip off wich means formaldahyde in your stomach and low fat usually more sugar... Instead, just try to reduce the fat in your diet (but you need fat in your diet). Cutting on beer if you drink loads will defenetly help you. I don't know what's up with eating loads of meat to reduce weight: eat loads of vegetables! But basicly what keeps you healthy is to change your diet all the time. Your chances of missing some stuff in your diet or having too much of something are much higher if you only eat the same few meals. Cutting on restorant can always help if you do go out alot to eat. Don't skip meals and when yoy take a little snack think of what you're about to eat, that can be where you get the worse in your diet. Drink loads of water, juice, milk... Get new recepies and get cooking man, that's the most important. Good luck, mate.

You didn't read the whole thread now did you

Sorry mate, no files named Living Dead Thumper.wmv , though there is some strangely named BIN file, that I'm currently downloading (was the most recent at 0 seconds new...) I'll edit to tell you if it's the video... Yup, it works, I haven't watched it yet, but it works

No one ranting on the V-tabs ? hahaha

I get a bit more than hip height with half rotation, but I ride with a very hard ratio for trials (close to two actually).

Sorry for reviving this thread, again! But it seems the bike will finally be in production quite soon. BikeTrials.ca Reset bike co.'s website isn't up yet, though
-
Well, first off, check out used bikes on pinkbike.com , the street hardtail demand recently fell in canada so prices are getting quite decent, though trials bikes don't seem to be affected as much... Anyhow, simple as getting some money, buying a bike with good major parts (wheels, cranks, brakes, frame) and slowly upgrading... Even considered 24" street/trials ?

Ehm how about Canada !?

If you want more kick ass riding by him or better resolution... get your mice here !

Now put it in green sand and pour molten aluminum in it, then you'd be getting some where, like having a 10 pound, solid one piece, mod frame...

Well I'm size 13 and I ride Odyssey Jim C's and I can fit my shoe on the pedal, really they are awesome, they have lots of concaveness and actually do come with the replacement pins in two sizes, available in aluminium, sealed bearing, regular bearings and magnesium body in any combination. The Mg version is 289 grams and the Al version is 360 grams. - Lighter than the Mg V12 s but you actually have a place to put your feet on it. I don't really know about UK bike sites, but I found this magnesium version aluminium version Damn, I didn't know they pwned v12 that much. Oh and if all else fails, try some BMW shinburgers

I don't, I also don't have a front brake, but if I had one, I still wouldn't

"10mm solid steel axle gives excellent clamping force and strength." You can't really get better then that... Anyhow, changing the axle is pretty straight forward... I'm pretty sure it's the same on a fixed hub as on a cassette hub : Basically, take everything out and put it back, hahaha Take this image as a reference, because it apparently is the same as your hub... 0-I don't know if this step is necessary, but if you can't remove the shiny unflanged bolt (see 1- for more detail as to what it is) on the drive side, you'll have to remove the cog, and I don't know how that works on a mod... 1-Remove the two unflaged silver bolts (the flanged ones or the one further out that aren't tight in the picture should be removed when taking the wheel out of the frame.), You'll probably have to do this with a wrench on both side.... 2-Using the proper sized cone wrench or vice-grips, remove one of the cones, you might have to put one on each side since it's probably just gonna spin. Adjustable wrenches and wrenches could work to, but depending on the design, you could strip the cones 3-You should now see the bearing or half of them actually, take them out and onto a rag, that should already be on the ground where you are working as they have a tendency to fly off. 4-Take the axle out of the hub by the side that still has it's cone. 5-Take the bearings out on that side to. 6-Put the axle on a table vice or in a vice grip, grabbing it on it's middle so you don't damage useful threads, if you axle is threaded from side to side, that is, Using one of the instruments in #2, take the other cone out. 7-Put one of the cones at about the same place that one would have been on your old axle, in your new axle. 8-Clean you bearings with your rag, put crap loads of lube in the bearing cavity on one of the sides of the hub. 9-Put the axle with the cone on the side that has the bearings (the cone in the bearings...) 10-Put the bearing on the other side of the hub like in #8 11-Bolt the other cone on and tight it moderately, well loosely, the axle should spin easily. 12-I don't know about this step, but put the cog in if you removed it earlier. 13-Bolt the shiny bolts back in. 14-Put wheel in. 15-Ride and repeat. Pretty sure that sums it... As to why it bent, maybe you rode with a slack wheel. By the sound of it, you rode with the cones loose wish probably bent your axle. Also in the first place, it might not have been a bent axle that triggered the cone slacking but the slack cones that triggered the axle's bending...

Hahahahaha you guys are sick, it's dirtjump bike, deore with alivio shifters, or whatever sram has as an equivalent. If your friends stuff is in good shape, go for it. Also, you will probably need something to keep the chain straight up front, because when you'll be at the really easy gears and the really hard one, the chain won't be in straight line so it'll have a tendency to fall over so if you want to run those gears and be sure your chain won't skip, you'll either need a dummy front derrailleur (with a really really short cable), a chain guide or double bashguards.

kenda k-rad, it isn't a unanimous tire, but it's worth a look.
-
Ehm, could be: -Cranks are loose or too tight -Cranks/BB not well lubricated -Shot or dirty bearings in the BB -Inadequate chain line: your chain doesn't come straight on your sprocket or chain ring -Loose chain ring/sprocket -Pedals: loose, bearings are shot -This one is highly unlikely, but your frame's BB shell might not be properly faced. Bottom, line, take a look at it and if you can't find anything obvious, take the whole thing apart and check everything one by one, clean it all, lube it tons put it back on.
-
I personally am all for the idea of putting BMX bb shells in trials bikes. But I would prefer horz drop-out and running a bolt axles and maybe chain-tugs AND having a BMX bb, because let's face it, the tiny weeny bearings in an MTB type shell don't last very long. Anyhow, I hope both options will be available one day. On another note, you might want to check the White Industries eccentric ENO hub, even better, it allows you to run the ENO freewheels at the back! : This would be the link, right here.

Hahahaha that's hilarious, my friends new used frame just arrived here and guess how the seat is holding ?
-
After six months, changing your chain isn't a bad idea, but you do know you can just replace the broken link... and if you change your chain, remember to change the sprocket(s) and chainring(s)

For me trick was: 1-Get gripier pedals 2-Take feet off pedal when not riding, I noticed most of my gashes happen when I was just sitting on my bike with one foot on the pedal. 3-There's not step 3-.

Teenage Angst Communal Agony Aunt Thread
paolo replied to Has anyone seen my shoe?'s topic in Chit Chat
Argh... got a weird situation. I'm attracted to my best friend (girl btw, always usefull to clarify) but I don't know if she is enterested in me. Weird thing is she is the one who "started" it; she asks me if I'm currently looking for love, I say I'm more looking for ass then love, then she's like cool , then I ask her why she so enthused by my horniness, and she awnserses me because "I am too ". That was earlier this week and pretty much all this week she's been flirty with me. Anyhow, yesterday we went to the cinema (she asked and we don't do much normaly if it makes a difference), I was expecting something to happen, but no! So it sucks cuse I don't know if I'm making a dick of myself. So I guess I'll just try to work it and asks her where she stands tonight... so confused or actually I so don't want to screw up hahaha -
Sounds like if your caliper isn't aligned right... Ask someone to squeeze the lever really hard while you tighten up the caliper in place. Oh and depending one your caliper, there might be a bolt to move the static pad. All of this is assuming you have a mech caliper...
