Yeah, the big strings are a bit smaller than regular guitar strings and tuned normally. The smaller strings are an octave higher except for the last two strings witch are identical (two b and two high e strings at the same octave). You can also opt for "shaped" tunning if playing a song that uses a specific shape throughout the song, say wonderwall by oasis, I like playing it with an e and a b string a step and a half higher (third fret equivalent) or just plain ass weird shit to mess around... The problem with them is that since they have 12-string, they put a lot of tension on the body so they aren't built the same way as other guitars (not really noticeable) and because of that, it's apparently better to keep them tuned a half-step lower (Eb) and also the strings have a tendency to break really easily. Hahahaha I make it sound like if they're very cumbersome and bitches to work with, well they are to a certain point, but it's really nice when you need it.

Oh okay, sucks because I have a crappy PC, only 512mb ram and a 2.93 Mghz intel processor so it really sucks up resources... Kinda weird though that it's so slow, work perfectly under linux

Anyone get problems with flash stuff in firefox ? It kinda kills my CPU and some stuff don't come up properly... I'd like to use Safari but I can't stand the lack of extensions and that you can't do "google/I feel lucky" searches right in the navigation bar... Allright, well I'm guessing your problem is that both HDDs are set up as primary masters. So, set either one's jumper as primary slave. Then reboot, go in the bios setting (F1 I think at boot screen, I think) then make sure the HDD that's set up as primary master is the primary master and the primary slave is the primary slave. Reboot and you should see both HDDs As for the cables, there's not much to be worried about, as long as they're plugged in somewhere that makes sense IE, sata drive to sata input in mother board, IDE drive to IDE slot in motherboard (might be on the same cable as the CD drive). I'm by no means an expert on the subject and I'm only speaking by my personal experience, you might want to validate my thoughts with someone elses post, not that there should be any harm in trying. Just don't remove either cable (power and data) from the disk when the computer is running, apparently it can harm it...

Actually, if you make music on your compy, you can go truly 64bit and apparently makes a real difference.

Well, there a basicly two schools of thoughts, either one are wrong, as I see it. Audiophiles : Enjoy hi-fi stuff, basicly, listen to the stuff the way it was recorded, with all of the depth a real sound has. Everyone else : Just want to listen to their music and have a nice sound. I enjoy a good sound, personally. But the truth is, most of us listen to their earphone with rather low quality mp3 (yeah you can get a pretty decent sound out of them) in rather noisy environments and are actually doing other stuff and not really concentrating on the music. So if you don't have in ear earphones or noise canceling headphones, having an ubbbber sound quality isn't worth it most of the time, and I find blocking outside noise is not a good thing when in a busy city just for walking, not to mention riding. Bottom line, the sound quality is not always that important especially when considering the price of something used ruefully...

Just please, think of you situation from an objective point of view Your just trying too damn hard and get stumbled over by every word she addresses to you. Just get a nice decent, honest talk and end your misery. Mate if it's been 8 months, and nothing real happened lately either she doesn't like you or has a hard time getting her things straight, either way, it's a good reason to stop fancying her. I've been in a similar situation myself... twice. You could still try to ask her out, like right f**kin' now, just do it in a good setting, one that you are high in her estime, make sure she has to answer by yes or no. Depending how things are looking for you, you might be able to get other stuff, you know friendship and such . And then tomorrow will come and you'll notice there are so many other hot girls and might even land one quite easily... Sorry for being so harsh, do what ever you want, it's your life, do what ever you decide to do. Just know that there's a way out and you just might need some ambition, and please think of you situation from an objective point of view...
