Reminds me of Cadbury's chocolate. Sweet!

Dan, what is with the early mornings at the moment? The above post was at 6.07am, Rowan had a similar problem and.... Why did you phone me at 6am the other day? I am still confused, worried and deely troubled. Cheers for the comment on the inspired. You can give it a rinse soon. I assure you. Happy Chrimbo. J

Mate, those riser bars are lovely. Makes the bike feel perfectly balanced and the front really responsive. Really suiting the bikes philosophy of trials/bmx. Black or White hmm, a tricky option! Personally, I don't think it matters, both will look great but I like the colour white...

Yo. The ratio is 22:17. feels perfect, not too heavy not too light. Also, the kingz tensioner just hits the nail on the head as far as tension is concerned. I went out and took some side photo's today.. Also, i reckon a finishing touch would be some black pedals. Next time I'm in bristol... ps. Having a seat is the best thing ever!!! - Who came up with the silly idea of removing them eh?

When it's light tomorrow - yep!

Yeah, it was a gamble I decided to take. Personally I think it works. but I understand your point of view. The bars are great though, they have a very natural feel. Cheers for your comments. Jon

Word up. Now if I didn't know better I'd say you used a high Iso setting with an exceptionally good film. Oh wait, it's digital. Cheat! Only messing Dan. You've set the camera up perfectly for the high definition capture of trials in action. Interested to know what shutter-speed, lense and flash you used. Also, in this picture, Rowans body position reminds me of a Silver back Gorilla... As always... good riding from Boon and Rowan. Great work.

Hey. A few weeks ago I made a decision to go 24. I have never riden one before - possibly a foolish error. However, I took a leap of Faith and this is the result. The Inspired feels so natural and complimentry to ride. In the future I will upload some videos, but for now. This is my Inspired Fourplay. Quick Specification: Inspired Fourplay Holroyd forks Middleburns Hope 74kingz Chrisking Sunlite rims, chrome Deity bars Holy Roller tires I would like to say a big thank you to Pierre (Frenchman) for the wheels. TartyBikes for the frame and the majority of components and Chainreaction for those hard to find bits. Here are some Photographs Christmas blessings. Jon Craig

Hey. I had the same problem with my Hope Mono. I found if you squished the brake lever a bit hard, it would oose brake blood out of the little keyhole/breather hole in the resevoir cap. For a temp fix: 1) Level out the lever, so when you take the cap off, you don't spill hydraulic fluid. 2) Then chop up a thin wall innertube in to a small fix-it strip. 3) Place the old gasket back on and postion your fix-it strip where the hole was. 4) Put the cap back on. The extra bit of rubber should creat a seal that stops the brake from leaking. 5,ish) This only really works as a temp fix, your best bet is to take it into a shop and get them to replace seal and cap. Or send it back to Hope, but that means a few days without a brake. Uh oh. All the best. Jon

Sand blasting an Alu frame leaves a kinda pitted rough texture - very good for a key if you wish to repaint it your chosen colour - but you don't. Nitromors is very good at taking the paint off with wire-wool and a bit of elbow grease. You may find getting within the welds and fiddly bits around the BB, drop outs and headtube a bit tricky though. Glass bead blasting is good, as the glass particles are smaller than that of a sand blaster, finer finish is acheivable. Whichever option you choose, you will have to spend time doing plenty of rubbing. Wet and dry, starting at a low grade to remove sratches/blemishes. Then move through the range to a very fine, high grade paper. Then using a polishing wheel, lightly cover the frame until you get that required depth of polish. With Aluminium, be wary not to touch it, as grease from the fingers, oil or dirt will make it look a bit poopy. Also, Aluminium will build up a natural protective layer of oxide, this may effect your polished look and have a dimming effect. I'd definately recommend spraying the clean frame with a lacquere. All the best mate. Jon

Yeah! Looks faaaaaar better than mine did. I've just scrapped it. Kinda rode it to death. Nice bike. modstock is intriguing, a good thing I'd say. Be careful when hopping up onto rails of thin walls. If you miss and slide off, the bash guard doesn't always catch it and the down tube is rather thin aluminium. Nice bike mate, enjoy riding it! Jon

An Inspiration... Ha, I should build my one up ...Roll on decembers pay packet for components! Looks great! Although, as lovely as the old pash seat is, the shadow conspiracy has my vote. Cheers, J
