  1. Which is kinda why i want a Banshee, because it might just be ok for going up hills...
  2. Matt, Tomm just said they're great... What's wrong with em for some fun?
  3. If your comp is darkened with IE or other inferior browsers, block them too.
  4. WUT? Daves second name isn't trials? Lol, seriously did surprise me to find out his second name... Hehe, hard.
  5. Yeah i can, i can't decide if i want a bike that's full on hardcore, or a bit lighter that's not quite so full on... Banshees are quite heavy btw. Gonna go to a mates Evans tomorrow and give a Stinky a twirl.
  6. It's a double translate... Translate it to Russian and then back to English and you get 'hot new items technology' Sounds a bit better, if it was in decent English.
  7. Spose... T-Pro was still pretty good though. Rode really nice. I was tempted to fluro orange the 'Pro, but then got the Leeson, which i can't ruin like that
  8. Think it's too late now (haven't read the last 2 pages) Girl number 2 and vodka.
  9. Must say, i agree with Gav, he's the only one here that's ACTUALLY ridden and owned (afaik) a Banshee of any sorts. Everyone slates them because Halfords sell them, but i had a proper good blat up and down outside the shop on an XXX, and it was f**king mint! I don't think it's quite up to hardcore freeride, as it's kinda a very very heavy duty XC bike (large frame suggests). The only thing the Kona Stinky has on the XXX is the rear shock isn't quite as good as the Stinky's... Fer real, the Banshee range rides really nice. Probably isn't the best way to tell if a bike rides nice, but to me, if it wheelies well it's got a nice geo. The XXX, i literally wheelied for about 100m, stopped pedaling, just sat on the back wheel with a tiny bit of brake feathering. Feels so good. I'm currently trying to make up my mind between the XXX (around 500 quid on trade to me) and the Stinky (780 quid on trade) Banshee, at least the normal one, has lockout on both sus's too so it'll be fine for going up hills... Glad you brought them up Gav.
  10. Further inspection. Yeah, f**king would. She's really hot.
  11. Just finished building my f**king wheel. Work today. Oh, and Caleb, how can you be calling us fucking idiots?
  12. Merida are a good choice. They're really unhead of, but basically, they make the frames for the big boys such as specialized, took the best of the best, mixed it up a bit and made loads of bikes. Really, theres a similar Merida for every bike lol. Not seen any Merida road bikes in the flesh though... The rest - Claud Butler, meh. Dawes, used to be awesome, not so great now. Coyote? Kona roadbikes are pretty over priced, but you'll get a decent one if you're getting it trade price. Specialized, yeah alright, but not great. SP Allez seems to be quite a nice, popular choice. Give one a look.
  13. Hmm, what brands can your mate get? 300 isn't really enough if you're paying retail price, new. Trade, 300 quid would be alright...
  14. I did a 2 set of stairs today on my lightweight Bianchi with carbon forks today and it was fine Medium would probably come up better for you, however, my Bianchi is a huge frame and i'm around the same height as you. If you wanna be cool, get a fixie. Bianchi Pistas are a bargain for the dollah, at around 400 quid. 19ish lbs too, and it's steel! How much are you looking at spending roughly?
  15. Calipers slightly worse And i don't work in Evans. But yes, there isn't a hell of a lot of difference. Just they're 'cheap' brakes.
  16. Ha! I see it. I f**king hate westwood. Chris is safe though.
  17. You rode a scooter home after 15 beers? Seriously, that's f**king bad.
  18. Hiten steel just bends. Cromo or nothing. Srsly.
  19. Bit of a shit spec though? i.e. juiicy 3s, lols.
  20. Low down on what to look for in a bike (or so i've been told) Full cromo frame, nothing but. Rest is just how much you wanna spend.
