  1. Na, kinda is, but it's more Koxx levelboss long, which is kinda like a long T-Pro... WEEE Not quiteeee finished, but it's back together now. Just need to fix a few chips/scratches on the rear rim from where i've built it, true up the front wheel (it's properly buckled as i couldn't find my park spoke key) and maybe get some v8s/12/some white pedals.
  2. Well it seems that tiny chairs are commonly found in primary schools. And also, Simon could be teaching you and many other kids. And he's in a primary school. etc... You really look like a kid i used to play football with, it's weird.
  3. Been taking lessons from Simon? (quite a few meanings/suggestions there )
  4. f**king vans etc... It's havoc riding around London in traffic... Shaun, yeah, the more expensive end of the Carrera road bikes are good, lowest ones aren't all that but still alright. I've told a Virago, and a Titan so far
  5. Btwins seem alright, worked on one today, the blue one. Pretty average really, and nearly good value...
  6. I hadn't had any yet... Haha! Great observation.
  7. Says you, tossing off your finger.
  8. No, first ever wheel build, it ended up with about 1-1.5mm up and down movement, so i was bored and thought i'd give it another go... Didn't work though, because the rim is a bit off i reckon. I can usually take up and down movement out of wheels, but as it's a f**king stiff rim, it wouldn't have much of it. Most recent one where i f**ked up, was cos i took it apart to spray it.
  9. Yeah, i was tired, my brain wasn't working and i had only done the 2 before. Evidently i can build wheels fine with a bit of a guide, as i did that wheel twice before. Cytech 2 basic wheel building isn't actually putting a wheel together though is it? Isn't it stuff like spoke replace and true? And Cytech 3 advanced wheel building is building it from scratch? 2 things man, where did the suspension setup is stable bit come from? You're twisting shit together now. I said i can get a feel for the sus by giving it a bit of a bounce, with my body weight and some gravity, which is essentially what it's gonna be like going down a downhill course/ hucking it off a 4ft drop and that if it wheelies nice, to me, it's gonna have a stable geo cos it had a nice balance point... Same with a trials bike, if it feels nice on the back wheel, it's probably a nice setup/geo. And i said i DON'T know how to service forks and shocks, which is why i wouldn't fully be cytech 3.
  10. I never said i actually have the certificates, but as i can do all the stuff on cytech 2 and some of the stuff on cytech 3, i might as well be... So when i actually go on the course, i have enough skillz to pass it without them telling me much sorta thing.
  11. I'm not any cytech yet, but i believe when i get on the courses, i'll be able to get 2 at least, then 3 when i've been shown how to service forks/shocks... Which should be shown when i actually get to cytech 3?
  12. Yeah... That. :$ Ok ok that was a bit of a f**kup, but that's due to lack of experience in building wheels... I am managing to push my way into the workshop, which is why you haven't seen me doing much complaining recently...
  13. Fair points, but, without blowing my trumpet too much, i don't think people realise that i actually know quite a bit, as most people know me as that tfer that works in Halfords, which basically means i'm a twat that doesn't know anything about bikes (probably)... But really, i work in bikehut, and i'm pretty good. We shall leave it at that.
  14. Admittedly, i haven't ridden many downhill bikes as they aren't all that popular in London as you may know... But when i say i know my shit, i might aswell be cytech 3 (certainly 2, and a few months of actual experience off of 3) on the mechanics side of bikes, and i certainly know quite a bit of product knowledge. If you walked into my bikehut and asked me about a roadbike, i'd know about it, likewise with a hybrid, mtb, components just generally anything that we have in the shop, and more... Mark, drop the wheelie = it's an excellent bike, it's just my opinion of things. Mainly derived from riding a 1.8k spec IH Yakuza, which wheelied like a beast, and also felt really nice to fly over a double, huck down a crater, then hit a kicker out of the crater...
  15. Yeah, cos of the gearing. It's awesome for manuals is it not? Look, i don't mean OMGZ IT WEELIZ BARE NYC, ITZ A SICK BIKEZ, i just mean, to me, it feels like it rides quite nice and should feel quite nice when it got to a downhill course or whatever.
  16. Lol, spose. But i feel that if it wheelies nice it's gonna have a nice and stable geometry - which is what you're after no? No, i haven't ridden an actual downhill course, but it felt nice to ride on the road.
  17. Hehe, the trade price is in USD. Weird. Banshee does ride nice though. Ok ok, from the quick, road based, up and down kerb, wheelie, manual, bunnyhop, and whatever else you can do on a bike on a road, it felt good.
  18. Can still get a feel for it. Just bunnyhop preloading gives me an idea of the sus feel etc. It feels nice ok! Gonna see what i can huck and test around Waterloo tomorrow... On the Stinky.
  19. I know that the Smallville dnb tune is Pendulum - Granite... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DQA1d0QQvf8 Not heard the one between shows though, if that's what you're after.
  20. I'll take my camera to the beach yeah? I'll get some awesome djing pics of you so you can put them on TS.co.uk and give me loads of money for the rights
  21. Yep, 246, newest/flagship BikeHut store... Give us a call one day
  22. Lol, txt2007, he shouldn't know about all them words at his age
  23. Who he is is relevant though... If it was someone who's been on the forum in recent years (his long term ban suggests that he's probably grown away from the forum) and someone who didn't live in the arse end of the country (as far away from everything and every one of the people whom have died) then it might have been accepted, as long as they knew all of them in person fairly well (if it's permanent, i'd like to at least know them in person well). Maybe a bit too far, but i guess he is a bit weird, so lets just leave him. It's his choice. It's not like the people are going to un die (not trying to sound insensitive) so there's no real need to get rid of the 'too.
  24. SRAM red? Should have got Dura Ace Go for a roadbike with Shimano, or Campag (Shimano is better in the lower range models, and just generally, Shimano is better )
