simple as, you can pick up a cheap one in halfords probably(BTW, its called a bike rack )
-
Not sure if anyones mentioned this but you shouldn't worry too much about trouser LEGS getting stuck in the freewheel, more along the lines of trouser snake(thats gotta hurt), sorry, i was bored and felt like trying(failing miserably) at being remotely funny.
-
Yeah, i was gonna say that but i wasn't sure if it was the crank arm, if he hasn't got an angle grinder he could just cut the crank arm on either side so the top comes off and it will just slide off.
-
The bolt holding the crank arm on is cross threaded? If so just drill it out, should work, if not as someone said TWAT THE B*****D(In northern accent)Or, drill as much as you can and twat it. Glen

jaw. haha sorry that was disgusting, certainly not barracuda stress rims(26 inch mtb) buckled front wheel, got new one, back wheel is now majorly buckled like the front which means i gotta fork out about 50 quid for a new one, not too happy about that
-
Right oh, all fixed thanks for help dudes too me for ever but i got there in the end
-
will do, i think 'halfords professional (cheap shit) crank extractors are 9 quid, so ill probably get one
-
As its only my second day riding trials i can't do to much so its not gonna have too much pressure on it, thin gis, it looks really thin, doesn't look like it should/ will stand up to the pressures of trials I'm just about to go to Halfords so they can try to get it off. Not sure why i can't get the crank arm off, it just doesn't seem to be moving when i try to lever it off.
-
OK, ill take them as soon as i can, but what about getting the crank arm off so i can get to it to straighten it, i think it will be straightenable (my new made up word?)
-
on the bike i got yesterday, 2nd hand, the chain ring has bent from where it wasnt secure, its badly bent, if you need pics i most proably can get them, but does this mean i have to buy a new chain ring? i can probably straighten it out abit, but the real problem is i can't get the crank arm off so i can get to it and straighten it out, any help on how to get the crank arm off would be much appreciated as it might save the day

Don't get any ideas but you could wear emo jeans 'drainpipes' but they people would think you're a fag and you look rediculous
-
LMFAO! Nice one, again TYPE PROPERLY, and has this sorted the problem?
-
I'm sure we can all understand if he's got dyslexia but it he's just talking like that because he chooses to write like that, thats where the problem is, dude, it doesn't take much more effort just to type you instead of 'u', please, for the forums sake and to stop you from being bad mouthed/never ever validated TYPE PROPERLY , and as with the other posts actually helping you with your problem, they're right, clean the rim and make sure the pads aren't dirty/ worn out and maybe get a grind on it and or some softer pads(maybe both if you're feeling flashy).

WHY, this vid has already been posted on TF, and him wearing a lid on that video wouldn't of saved much, his nose and eye socket broke, nothing to do with his head, people need to realise a lid isn't a complete life saving device, don't get me wrong, wear a lid all the time but they're only gonna stop the top part of your head from hitting the thing, nothing else!
-
Haha! Or maybe they are just lazy(not as lazy as me, thats impossible)and don't read the thread
-
Do people actually know that i got out bidded on it? and i can't get it
