They're fine as a first bike, wouldn't reccomend one to any one that's already in trials though. It's good enough to get into trials with, any bike is, but you'll probably be too good for it within 6 or so months. You'll need to get some Hs33's if you haven't already got them, or a decent pair of V brake pads. Saracen are ok, not made anymore though, as far as i know.
