  1. I think lifes biggest question is; WHO IS THE STIG?! But i dunno, you may think you're right but put it to some crazy arse scientist and he'll tell you wrong, wrong by some miscalculated quantum thingymajigy. Science is silly.
  2. Ali - you might aswell buy pressure rated from a man on ebay called Mr_HOseUK (i think) it'll be much safer and will be better as you can get some real nice sized launchers and still be safe. Sheringham - do it. And yeah, firearms but the laws are VERY vague on them, they're not actually propperly classed as anything accept a fire arm (a weapon that fires a missile or any sort) Jake - it's the first one i had, she hasn't let me get the one from america. Instead i'm buying it all seperately from an oline shop in the uk. (gonna be better than the one from america, heheh, sucker) But for it's size, people admit it does pack a good punch!
  3. Duck tape might help, but certainly wont keep all of the bits in. Apparently carpet tube is very good for flying pieces of metal and plastic.
  4. I'm seeing it. It's gonna be a full eslipse at 1 am. Looks cool.
  5. Yup 190 psi is pretty good in terms of cannons. do it, but use pressure rated copper pipe and make sure it's all safe. Test it at 10psi then 20 then 30 then 40 etc to make sure it's not gonna kill you.
  6. Nope, haven't, it's got all potato juice and apple in it.
  7. Metal for Pneumatic yes, not for combustion, it will fail easy and is a lot more dangerous than flying plastic. Use copper pipe, a ball valve and a schralder valve+foot pump. VIDS WORKING NOW! (Is the sound out loads?)
  8. Was it pneumatic punk? Mine shot from my backgarden to 75 metres away and 10 stories up! Was so jaw dropping to see it do it. The UKSGC admin gave my cannon a prize ;Ghetto cannon of the week.
  9. Alastair! That's so dangerous, youneed to make it out of pressure rated (10 bar will do) PVC pipe. I haven't but as it's only got a small combustion chamber (white bit) it's apparently quite safe. With 30 quid you can buy one from amaerica (inc postage) and it'll be safe and rather powerful, about 10 times more powerful than my one.
  10. Well, as i said i would, I'm showing you my cannon and a vid of it i filmed about an hour ago. Vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNOdG1CNzJ4 (sorry for shit quality, along with the pics, it was dark outside) Might not be there yet though. Pikas: It goes with a pretty loud bang as you can hear and is rather powerful for it's size. Using cooking apples and furniture polish for fuel (potato's and Adidas deodorant, not anti persprint, is the best option) Show me yours? Discuss!
  11. It's nice, but the silver forks look a bit gash imo. Black forks would look better, i think.
  12. Muc off works well on rotors apparently.
  13. Oh, ok. Just normally see monty wheels with one side radially laced. From wheelbuilder.com, this probably wont affect it much, as trials hubs are meant to take massive loads. Don't be put off by it though, or it wouldn't be built like that.
  14. I believe it's called radially laced, it's not as strong as crossed builds but i think the purpose is to look good. Lemme guess, it's a monty wheel?
  15. On fit life, fook me, the first crashes were savage.
  16. http://www.cliosport.net/forum/index.php ? enthusiast is with an e btw.
  17. I don't think Mack is the correct artist name. Don't think 'it feels like home' is right either.
