Actually pound for pound titanium is heavier than aluminium but is stronger... meaning a titanium body can end up the same weight as it's alu counterpart because it can be made thinner. So kinda useless really, and i just disproved my theory too (Y) go me!

Titanium is lighter though? Are you sure it's not a CK hub with a titanium axle or freehub/driveshell or something like that? Not sure, just chucking a few ideas around.

This is all getting a bit too jeyoby for my liking. Just ride man, dont think of it as 'training' because that makes it feel as though you HAVE to ride... and whats the fun in that? Riding should be about fun and fun through progression. Not forced and uncomfortable.

Dont use crap components, use heavy cmoponents. It's called gravity training and some road riders/xc riders swear by it. Basically if your bike is heavy you have to train hard and get stronger to achieve similar results to your competition spec... If you then train beyond this it's even better. When you put the light stuff back on you will be sooo much better than you were before. Same applies to trials. Train with a heavy bike and work hard to achieve same gap distances and ups etc then when you go light you will find the same stuff easier and the harder stuff less daunting. Make sense?

Damn. If that IS actually the proposed deisgn and not just someone farting around I have to say that I am truly truly dissapointed. I was expecting something very streety and very sexy (and possibly even original). That frame is just samey and boring and not at all streety. Not what i was expecting.

To be honest guys anything trials related is not the right way to look at this situation... It's simply not mainstream enough. Organise a big fete style event, get the local paper/radio involed for free publicity and have events such as... Carwash, get loads of people to charge a pound for their car to be washed. Stalls, the usual like coconut shys and stuff. Food and Drink, everyone will buy things like that. Get stuff donated to sell on stalls. Allow people/companies to put up their own stalls for a small charge (£10?) plus 10% of their takings. Finally, write a nice letter to all the local companies big and small and ask for sponsorship of the cinema project and give them a nice package such as billboard advertsiing at the cinema etc. Think outside the trials-forum box :'(

I'm gonna treat myself to a camera for christmas so that I have motivation to make videos, i'm one of those people that really can't ride on his own... I need people (or a camera). Buy a camera :P

Surely that's not true... If you have a standard mini dv camera and you make a movie of approx 300megs you compress it (for arguments sake) to 10 times it's original quality and get a movie that is now 30megs and 10 times poorer quality. However, with high definition you start of with the same movie but obviously it is much better quality, we'll say 600megs, you then reduce by 10 times and end up at 60megs and 10 times poorer quality HOWEVER although it is poorer quality through compression you have to bear in mind that you won't be compressing it down to the same quality as a mini dv... that's like buying an apple and cutting it in half and throwing half away because it's bigger than all the rest... it's wasteful. So although you will be compressing the quality will still be much better, and to be honest im on 56gay at the moment and I simply do not bother downloading videos... So it won't matter much anyhow. When I have BB i'm not gonna mind waiting longer for a HD, quite the contrary - I would prefer it :P Any help? p.s. all the figures I used were off the top of my head, so no smart arses please :D Will you be selling your old camera then dear chap?
