He just did pretty much, on the News. The thing that worries me as most people on here have touched on is not the fact that they now have nuclear weapons really.. I mean I wouldn't really expect them to use them really - the repercussions would be ridiculous.. HOWEVER Now that George Bush has gone all alpha male on their ass with all this bullshit about it being a provocative act threatening peace and stability and basically saying he's not gonna sit back and let them get away with it.. Does anyone remember what happened last time Bush went on about not letting a certain group of people get away with an attack? How many times has england been dragged in and attacked as a result? He's gonna go after korea now, chuck in troops and allsorts.. It's gonna get hostile and shits gonna hit the fan. I don't normally get pessimistic about stuff, but this is actually pretty scary. Right, I'm looking to get myself a camcorder primarily for making a portfolio for uni but then obviously once I have it i'm going to want to make riding videos as well as other video projects [wildlife and shizz]. So basically I'm looking for something decent! I have a fair bit of knowledge as far as cinematography goes and I do know a bit about the camcorders themselves but I'm not really sure what to go for. Sony HDR HC3 To me it looks pretty much ideal. I had heard something about not being able to change lenses on sonys but found out this isn't right and there's a fairly decent range of filters and wide angle lenses available.. So no woes there. I was hoping to be able to run an external mic, but this one doesn't accept it - I doubt it'll matter too much though.. Just hoping someone might help me to confirm that this is a good choice! Don't really want to waste my money! Also, does anyone think it might be worth the extra couple hundred quid and getting this one.. Sony HDR HC1 Any ideas, opinions, advice will be VERY much appreciated!

Bollocks! Also, one other thought - to make sure it isn't to do with system resources being stretched hit Ctrl+Alt+Del and keep that minimised then keep an eye on your CPU usage in the system tray.. [the little square ] If it goes into the red and your computer restarts you can pinpoint the problem a little easier.

Sounds like your processor could be over heating... Have you checked that the fans are actually working correctly and that the airflow runs nicely through your box? Try downloading a demo version of some kind of system monitor that will check all your temperatures. Also it could be some dodgey RAM so DL and run Memtest to check all that out. Finally, actually you should probably do this first.. Have you checked that all your power supply cables are in good working order.. try poking one gently and seeing if your PC restarts.. If one is dodgy any movement could easily make your computer switch off and then reboot.. ? I think.

Well no, they are bespoke. I bought a secondhand leeson that needed a super wide rim because it had been made to accomodate them.
