  1. I was just being grumpy. Right.. But grumpy.
  2. Probably not worthy of a topic but i'm used to running very short riser bars on me trials bike.. normally cut down a standard pair of risers by about 2inches either side!! I've just purchased and fitted some wide easton ea70s with not very much rise. I wanted something a little more trialsy. It feels terrible I don't feel like i can gap as far or anything. Anyone else had a similar experience? Should I ride it out [so to speak] or cut them down?
  3. Bah, incorrect terminology or not that video was terrible.
  4. You sir are a f**king cock. Go join OTN. As for pictures in signatures.. it's never gonna happen, it shouldn't happen and a good thing too! Who cares what's at the bottom of your post? Nobody. It's a forum not Deviant Art.
  5. Ummm nose wheelie - good abubaca - i could pull whiplash - i could pull half cab up steps - i could pull 360 barspin - good tailwhip drop - good Geddit?
  6. Umm that video was shockingly shite \ Half of the tricks I could pull off, easily. That was NOT corey martinez standard, that was just lame.

  8. That made me chuckle... You will need a bus that holds 50 people or more.. But you can use a rover metro.
  9. Cheers for all the advice guys! It's been a great help. The H&S is gonna be super strict so we have to be careful.. but the ideas you guys have given are really good. I've already had a go at jumping up and down on the roof and its soooo weak! So we'll be using an acro prop like scopse suggested. Decided to take all the windows out and fill them with ply/checker plate. Cheers guys.
  10. There's a big extreme sports event being organised in guernsey for may and the local riders are organising a trials demo.. The sites for the event is here if anyone is interested. Anyway, we're gonna use a car as one of the obstacles and aren't really sure where to start. We'll be taking the wheels off and dropping it on the deck to make it more stable. But it's the windscreen that i was concerned about,, There will be a couple motorbikes using it too so i'm not sure if the windscreen will be strong enough? We were considering removing the windscreen and fitting ply. Really just if any of you guys have done a demo using a car before.. can you post what you did? Cheers guys.
  11. I'd hate to try and make sense of a post you made when drunk!! Reading this was a mission.
  12. Just to clarify, when i said dual screen i meant running the two screens as though they were one big screen so you can have the timeline and tools in one monitor and the preview in the second.. or however you prefer. Is that still gonna be cool?
  13. Yeah i'm glad people went with what i was thinking of. MBP it is then, and yeah as people said i was planning on budgetting for an external hd and a screen too. Basically i'll just run the laptop as a box until i go away. One final question, does anybody know if the graphics card in the MBP will be able to support dual screen? Because it'd be pretty neet to run it like a proper editing suite. Cheers guys
  14. Trying to weigh up the pros and cons a bit here - but struggling! Basically I want a decent mac primarily for editing. I'll be using the family PC for web browsing, games, msn etc. Now the most obvious choice to me is to get a mac pro and bobs your uncle.. however in around a years time im going on a long roadtrip around europe so I'll need a decent laptop for editing and for music and web etc My predicament is that obviously the mac pro will be more powerful and more comfortable to use for the next year BUT i'll then need a laptop for europe OR i can sacrifice some performance over the next year.. perhaps spend a bit more money and get an apple monitior that'll plug into the mac book pro and even external mouse/keyboard and run it like that. This will cost mroe and wont be as efficient as having a dedicated desktop.. it'll cost more initially too. As you can see i'm in a muddle! Any experience with editing on a mac book pro would be great, any suggestions, ideas, pros, cons.. anything really! Please help!
  15. I hope you're joking?? Pimped? It's awfull!
  16. Burnt face man would be awesome!! Not sure if i have enough time to sort it out now though.. only got a couple of hours tomorrow to get it sorted because of work
  17. I'm off to a fancy dress party on Saturday and the theme is Heroes and Villains. I'm trying to think up something a bit different.. I like to stand out! So superman or whatever is a no no. Any suggestions would be gladly recieved! I was thinking about going as George dubbya Bush.. but then people might think he's my hero!! and we don't want that Cheeeers.
  18. I quite liked that. Messy but fun! good vibe
