Hey im after some decent headphones for riding in and for just general listening but i'm dead fussy. Sound quality has to be mint otherwise I won't use them and will burn them Well, sell them on ebay. I found some skullcandy headphones that look mint.. anyone used them? Good sound, fit etc? Those are the two im looking at, the first ones look tight as and i'd like them but concerned about quality of sound? Also like the second ones but they might be too bulky. Here's the website too for more info.. Skullcandy Oh yeah these are for bmx not trials

No the post I made was useful as I actually gave an opinion and spoke of my experience. Posting a google search was as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest.

Actually just had a quick hunt round for some skins and theres some pretty groovey ones! I might try a few out actually.. skins

To be honest "dan brisa" your post was pretty useless.. Not much point just showing him millions of alternatives if you've never used any and have no experience to share. I have used trillian and found it to be very good, I don't really like the look of it though and find it a bit weird to use.. That said I know you can get skins for it so might be worth trying out a load and seeing what you like, I'd bet my bottom dollar that there is an MSN style Trillian skin. But yeah now I just use normal msn until it cocks up or won't let me sign in, then I load up trillian and use that. It always works. Oh yeah a nother good thing about trillian.. If you have yahoo or AIM or anything like that you can set it to log into all of them at the same time and run off the same window.. Quite useful. Same applies to having multiple msn addys.

Really useful info so far guys, much appreciated! Unfortunately I can't get a nationwide CC as they don't have a branch in Guernsey nor do they offer their services to us Not fair!

I can give myself severe toothache just by thinking about it. Every other day I stay up for around 24hrs. Ice cream makes me cough uncontrollably. I have a recurring memory of my youth and riding my bike really fast then pulling the front brake and doing a front flip, one of my childhood friends remembers too. I must've been about 8. I don't believe it happened but it's still odd that we both remember! I may add again, I'm pretty odd.

I know the majority of forumers on here are either too young/have no use for a CC. I'd imagine some on here probably can't get a CC either!! But i'm not really too interested in why people think they're a bad idea or whatever. Basically for my trip to Australia I want a back-up something I can use if, for example I trash my bike and need to replace it/it gets nicked. Or if there's something I really want to do/see that I didnt budget for. Obviously I will also be using it as a safety net.. I wont be phoning mummy and daddy to wire me money! So ideally I want something that I don't have to pay back straight away.. As I will be away and not working. Most of the credit cards I've seen are interest free for 3 months. Is this the norm? I don't really want a 3month one.. for me 6months is the bare minimum as i'm expecting to arrive back in Guernsey with no money and so I'll need to have a month or two where I dont pay anything back ideally. Things to note.. I'm 19 and will have been in full time employment for one year. Never had a credit card or been in debt so no credit history.I will be coming back to full time employment as soon as I arrive.I fully intend to use the credit card so I'm looking for the best deal.Currently bank with Natwest but will be willing to change banks if i can get a better deal.I don't really want to pay any interest if possible but the lower the better.I think that covers everything? If you need anymore info then let me know please. Any first hand experience or guidance would be greatly recieved!! Cheers Edit: Wow - I typed a lot without realising it then! Sorry for essay!

I took English Language&Literature A-Level which was one course as there was no option for a purely Language based course. I'm not sure if this is the same with you or if it was just the college that I attended? Anyhow, the first year was very much centered around creative writing, poetry etc. The second year the syllabus changed considerably however and the majority of the work I did was English Literature. So if you hate the Literature side I'd be dubious about taking the course without talking to the course tutor and finding out what will be on the syllabus for both years. Something else to note; I recieved a double A for English Lang. and English Lang. and Lit. GCSE without reading any of the books that we studied.. Lord of the flies, animal farm etc HOWEVER At A-Level I struggled a bit to begin with because you do actually have to read understand and be incredibly analytical about the texts you study.. So don't treat it like a GCSE! Hope that helps a little.

I'm slightly dissapointed. I was at work earlier incredibly bored and hope to stir up the forum a bit but nobody bit oh well. for the record i try to wear my helmet as much as possible, nowhere near as much as i should though but thats vis-a-vis

I don't think a lot of those tattoos had that much thought put into them to be honest! Infact most of the time i think people just choose a tat 'cause they think it looks cool. Nowt wrong with that mind you
-
I hardly ever wear a helmet unless i'm doing big stuff and I doubt I will in the future. It's all about the image at the end of the day and helmets aren't cool. I'd much rather be in a little bit more danger but look swish with my hair gelled up etc People will probably flame me but I don't care.. I know that i'll be the one looking fresh and you'll be the ones looking like lycra wearing ponces

Don't take this the wrong way but with your short riding times and the fact that you haven't yet got your balance dialled i seriously reccomend you avoid those drops! And if you must, please please god don't do any of those drops without a helmet. You're both proper young and inexperienced and that could end up messy. Keep up the riding though, you guys seem to be improving quick

Incorrect. When you take VAT from the cost of an item you remove 14.9% When you add VAT to an item you put 17.5% on Otherwise you're robbing yourself.

Could be a stab in the dark but i'm trying to track down a website or piece of software that helps with conversation dutch. Either a site that has actual soundbites so you can hear the pronounciation or a piece of software that teaches conversation french. I'm not interested in things like 'the dog is red' or 'how much is that can of peas' just basic conversational type stuff. Any ideas? Google is not my fiend today

Waynio if you could that'd be awesome. Cheers for the info guys
