Why is it I want to ride so bad ride now, Ive just watched some really inspiring videos and the weather is good and everything.. But.. My bike has a puncture and I really really cant be bothered to fix it. Its like some kind of mental block.. a clash inside my head, because I want to ride, but I dont want to fix th puncture. This cant be normal? Anyone else get the same thing? Or am I just being a plank? Im a muppet.

Basically recently Ive found myself with lots of spare time and not a lot to do. For example, tonight im bored and all my friends are either being boring or busy. So. What can I do? Wow lots of really good replies, thanks guys! Do I need 4gb of ram? Also what is normal windows and how do you go about getting a 64bit version? off the shelf? Yeah thats right HDV. To be honest I wont be focusing mainly on HD I just want that option. Im not really confident enough to build my own, Im worried about compatibility issues, the fact that I lack motivation and would probably have the boxes sat around for ages etc etc I think Id be happier with a 'package'. A fair point Yeah the ratio is like 1:1 I think, you get warnings though. So they let you know if you need to upload some more and stop being a leeching b*****d My ratio is something like 1:8 so I have no worries anyway.

Ok torrents work like this.. Somebody has the file on their computer and says hey, I want to share this. People download the file from that person. They decide they also want to share it. So like 10people are now sharing the same file. When you click download you are connecting to THEM and downloading little bits of the file from all of them. All Demonoid and other torrent sites do is give you a place to put all the files together in a searchable way. So people go on demonoid and put up a topic (like a forum) saying they have the file available to sharing. Does that make sense? P.S. The reason Demonoid is regarded as one of the better sites is that it has share ratios, which basically means you have to distribute (seed) as much as you download (leech). This means demonoid download rates are generally very high. Theres a strong sense of community too and the chances of you DLing a dodgy file very low. In short, it rocks.

Ok basically Im looking for a Desktop, primarily for video/image editing. HD is definitely an idea im toying with sooo im looking at big RAM, powerful CPU etcetera. I dont care about fancy looks or anything, Id like a pretty big monitor though so I can watch movies. Big hardrive would be preferable but it doesnt really matter as I already have a big ass external. I went on the Dell website and got their Live Help. They reccomended I get the XPS 420 --> Second in from the right. My budget is approx. 800. But that one is like 600 and seems ideal (to the untrained eye). What do you guys think? Anything else to consider? There are also loads of upgrades available on that base package? Do I need any? HELP

Plus they monitor your sharing ratio and you get warnings which lead to a ban if you dont share as much as you upload. This means you get much better download speeds and because its very much a community you get less viruses and crap media.

Just thought you guys would be interested to know Demonoids back, not sure for how long mind you! Its servers are now in the Ukraine.. man that site gets around! There are talks on slashdot and other sites that this could be a setup to catch file sharers.. Seems a bit far fetched to me? One other thing, try to post sensibly as this topic is pretty much against the forum rules!
