I know how you feel, I'm always getting f**ked around by mail order companies. This one time I bought a part from Tarty and took 36hours to get from North England to Guernsey, suffice to say I won't be using them again. People need to chill out I think, in fairness even if it takes a week to get to you that's still not THAT bad. I got a quote for my XC bike which as far as I'm concerned was very fair. I would never expect to get a lot for a trials bike or a bmx to be honest, they are generally ridden hard and hammered.. plus the resale value is abysmal. The only problem I have now is that I can't afford to post my bike! But come pay day I'll be accepting the offer and shipping it off.

This should really be in chit chat. But open the picture in Microsoft Paint, Select All (Ctrl+A) and click in the bottom right of the pic (click and hold once you get a double ended arrow) then drag it in slowly and look in the bottom right you will see the size changing down there. Thats the freehand way which could result in a disproportionate image. Alternatively go to Image >> Resize/Skew and just keep changing the two % boxes to like 80 or 90 percent until it gets down to the right size.

If we assume that the part is a prototype as it is in this situation, when you use said part and find out that it's shit or it breaks for you then you go along to Ashton and tell them your thoughts and explain what improvements you would like to see before the part comes into production.
