  1. I have just been 'pointed'.. PMed
  2. 1. Dream sponsor: I have enough money to support my riding and have the bike I want so my dream sponsor would be an airline, BA or Virgin probably I wouldn't need anything but free travel so I was able to go anywhere, anytime. Then I could travel the world with my bike and quite literally live the dream. 2. Dream trials bike: Spec 3 Inspired from Tartybikes.. my bike! I honestly wouldn't change a single thing, it's everything I've ever wanted from a bike! 3. Person you would want to ride with: Like minded people who just want to get on their bikes, ride and have a bloody good time.. 24 Tour Ahoy! 4. Dream competition to win: Pfft.
  3. Am I right in thinking it's a long threaded rod that the nuts on, and the other end is simply threaded into the frame/other end of the tensioner? If so there should be enough poking out so you can get a mole grip on there and unscrew the whole thing with the nut still on. That's a last resort though as you'll chew up the threads.
  4. Best get my bike to step into line and f**king work
  5. I thought the music was the best part Nah, was pretty good, I watched it right to the end which is saying something these days! Some big riding in there but I noticed one or two moves that seemed really small compared to everything else, after watching it again though I think it could be the angles that make them look small. Needs more lines!
  6. The irony of it all is that Danny Mac can ride 'proper trials' (if there is such a thing) better than most of the people who talk whack about his style.
  7. The way your post reads it's almost as though you feel a part of the trials community when the reality is that you (and a few others) seem to take great pleasure in pissing off as many of the dedicated riders as you can, the fact that you even pretend to care about the future of trials pisses me off. If the majority of trials riders were more like you then our sport would be going nowhere fast.
  8. Looks as though it's inspired by the Shimano carbon boosters? They were awesome.
  9. He's definitely a bit special! The rail ride at 4mins, such balance!
  10. You need to sign-up to Vimeo, then when you click on the video you will see a download link in the bottom right.
  11. Nice video! Lovely riding and a good song too. Enjoyed watching that
  12. Have a browse through those topics then Should get you started
  13. Bikes people started on. Most people suggest a T-Pro for that kind of budget and as a first bike. The replies in this topic mostly sway towards the T-Pro too. It took me 10mins to find these few topics, if I was you and I was looking to start a sport I had no idea about, I would search and trawl through the forums getting as much info as I can. But then again I always get obsessional about things I'm spending my hard earned bunce on.
  14. Surely people don't still watch Devvo?
  15. Your best bet is to get yourself validated (more posts like this will get you validated pretty fast as you're obviously someone who has a good grasp of the English language!). Once you're validated keep an eye out in the For Sale part of the forum, make a topic in the Wanted section too. for that kind of money it's always more advisable to buy a second hand bike than something brand new. As for the seat thing, as much as I'm all about seats I don't think you should write off a bike because of it.. Don't spend your hard earned cash on second best if the best bike for your money has no seat! I mean come on man, I don't know your background or anything about you, but what I do know is that you're 18 and you really shouldn't be having to answer to your parents about such a trivial matter! I mean god damn! That's unbelievable.
  16. Yeah, should be more like riding a nice flowy rhythm section, on a bmx, on dirt.
  17. That chick looked like she was having a great time.
  18. Word. Such individuality, such creativity, such style. I honestly think that if it wasn't for Berridge I probably wouldn't be as hooked on street as I am now, watching his videos really opened my eyes to what you can do on a bike and to the limitlessness of the trials discipline.
  19. vary [vair-ee] var⋅ied, var⋅y⋅ing. –verb 1. To change or alter, as in form, appearance, character, or substance: to vary one's methods. 2. To cause to be different from something/someone else. 3. To avoid or relieve from uniformity or monotony; diversify: to vary one's diet.
  20. Looks great! I'd consider going. All I need it front sus..
  21. And if that doesn't work get a long hex bolt and a nylock nut from your local nut and bolt shop.
  22. I like the fact that she opens her legs on command. You have her well trained.
