  1. All I get is a black square for some reason, I can't click it either Can someone post the URL?
  2. Judging by the age of the video and the number of views I'm guessing this is probably a repost, although a quick search suggests otherwise. Regardless, I just stumbled across this on youtube and it's pretty bitchin'. Riding's good, but it's more the extra 'stuff' that's in the video that really caught my attention, proper good fun edit.
  3. I don't really care about any of this except the pretty ridiculous assumption that simply because the majority of people share the same opinion, this means that somehow they are deemed unable to reach their own conclusions. Just because the vast majority of people disagree with you it doesn't mean that you're the only one capable of rationalising facts. I'd hazard a guess that the split on here is actually a lot to do with the fact that most people can see past Damon's talents as a TGS rider (of which there is no doubt that he is outstanding) and they are more pissed off with how he conducted himself as a sponsored rider. We don't live in a world wear your talents excuse you from your less desirable personality traits. That's why most people agree that a lot of the top footballers are total helmets, they're super talented but also super douchebags. (Sweeping statement, but you get the idea)
  4. Are you meaning as a one on one style affair or a total free for all? a free for all could get messy!
  5. I don't think 'anal' is quite the word you were looking for here, it makes no sense!
  6. So far I've managed to completely avoid the whole harlem shake razmatazz. I haven't watched a single one and I don't know anything about it so I'm spared any of the anguish that would surely follow.
  7. Not bothered myself, not bothered at all.
  8. This picture actually encompasses much more than the obvious 'crash element'... That bike was my first step away from 'normal' trials bikes and it changed the way I looked at and approached riding. (For the better) That bike led me to attend the first 24 tour, which in turn led me to a group of awesome like minded people that have become solid friends. The day this photo was taken was the day I got acquainted with a further two awesome friends who never cease to inspire me and enthuse me in all aspects of trials. Many of the best days riding I've had have been with these cool cats and certainly my video production quality has improved as a result of their influence. I crash a lot, this photo reflects that. Matt Purdon took this photo and Matt Purdon rocks. That bike now belongs to Joel Bennett and the day I handed that bike to him was a pretty awesome feeling. I've never really had the opportunity to do a proper 'good deed' before and being that Joel is one of the most incredible human beings I know, I was so pleased that this bike could continue it's life with a very worthy new owner. If anyone deserved that bike it was certainly him! So it's not just a photo of me snapping a pair of forks at the top of a very steep flatbank (flat used in the loosest sense of the term). It's a photo about cool people and the cool things that have come from knowing them. Much of this is probably quite disjointed but most of you won't read it anyway so pfft
  9. I should have a video showcasing some incredibly mediocre riding before the deadline is up. Hopefully...
  10. You can buy plain black chainstay protectors on ebay for a couple of pound. I'm assuming that's why you have yours the wrong way round? Other than that it's looking good. Saddle looks slick. I really want some saints
  11. Yeah, don't knock the boots guys, my girlfriend has a pair and she loves them.
  12. As good as it is I feel increasing levels of unease when watching your videos. Your riding is progressing at such an astonishing rate that it's difficult for me to comprehend quite how you stick most of your lines. I genuinely fear for your safety 95% of the time and the crash videos go a long way towards confirming my fears. Simply put; incredible but utterly terrifying riding.
  13. Function over form I guess. QR aside the bike's a real beauty, looks awesome.
  14. That quick release on the front wheel is really bothering me!
  15. The pan to the ground is more to do with maintaining the flow of a clip where you're tracking the rider and less about trying to be artistic. It looks pretty gash if you're following a rider through a line and then as soon as he finishes the camera stops dead in it's tracks. Funny video though.
  16. It takes a special kind of rider and a certain level of commitment to video production to make a pallet vid enjoyable. Massive sidehop from two looked slick and the 180 gap was ridonkulous.
  17. I don't see this as a pointless thread anymore, I think shit just got interesting. The quote from TA's site... But, but, but, but... How can they be dealing with Tartybikes directly if Tartybikes are waiting for Trials Addict to show proof of purchase for their Echo parts. Surely if Trials Addict are buying from the only official distributor (Tarty's) then the aforementioned distributor (Tarty's) would remember this and have a record of this sale! Something doesn't add up here. The consumers want answers!
  18. I can't comment on TA's service as I've never used them. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
  19. Ben Gosden, why do you care about random forum users views on a Facebook page that belongs to a company that you neither own nor are affiliated with? Are you a sub-contracted market research goon or are you just really really odd?
