It's funny how people assume that carbon is snap happy when they clearly know nothing of what/how carbon actually works. Obviously there are different standards of carbon construction but one would assume that Monty have put a lot of effort into getting this right, hence the price tag. Talking of price tags, I still don't get why people think that this amount of money for a high end top of the range bike is a ridiculous amount. I can only assume it's because kids these days expect the best, so when they realise they can't afford the best - they get pissy. When I was growing up I raced XC and road. Clearly as a kid working Saturdays in a bicycle shop I was never going to be able to afford a Trek Madone. I didn't go on about how ridiculous the price tag was, nor did I start comparing it with other bikes and trying to pull apart the components load out trying to work out why it cost so much. It costs what it costs. I raced on a second hand, low end giant for most of my time racing. I always wished I could have a Madone but I had to settle for a poster of one on the wall and the occasional sit on one in the shop. Just because YOU can't afford it, it doesn't mean it's over priced. Anyway, £3,000 for a top of the range bike isn't ridiculous. One last thing about carbon... OH MY GOD, A PLASTIC PLANE?! WHAT AN OVERPRICED PILE OF SNAP.

Some really sketchy camerawork going on in there, I feel like the pyramid line was totally ruined by the fact that you couldn't really see what was going on at all. I mean we all know what the pyramids look like and we can all visualise that line in our head, but the video should actually show the line not just some weird close ups. If you watch Mark Westlake's 'Video Friends' edit you can see Ali absolutely skying it over the larger side and Mark filmed it from a decent angle where you can actually see what's going on. I'm not really sure why there isn't a proper shot of you going over! The manual to ET at 1:06 was pretty cool and I liked the manual line at the end.. Buuuuut, why was that your ender and not the big drop thing? You could do with sucking that back wheel up a bit too! It's such a simple thing to work on that I think would improve your style so much. Those Danny Mac 360 tap lines... I don't even like them when Danny does them so the less said about them the better I think. Same with footjam whip thingies. It's cool that you're not kicking into 360's now, they must feel much nicer to do with the BC. Nice hero shot at 2:11. Oh yeah, pointless nollies are pointless.

I just feel like it would look so much nicer if they were simply black. I guess I'm a bit of a 'plain Jane' when it comes to colour schemes though. The gold just draws my eye away from the shininess of the Skye frame (which should be the real focal point). Just pop it in photoshop and change them to black and see how it looks

I dislike this because the wheels are too big. There's no denying it looks nice though Perhaps the guy who seems intent on causing friction within the community could do with a little account suspension to remind him that trolling isn't welcome here.

Imagine the world we would live in if everybody shared your philosophy on 'less work, more play'. For one thing all those of you who have mentioned about sacking off responsibilities and just going travelling, how on earth would you travel if there weren't pilots dedicating shit loads of hours & money to pilot training, what about the engineers maintaining the aircraft who will be working night shifts and 10 hour days - should they readjust their outlook on life?
