  1. That all depends on the resale value of a two year old Skye!
  2. He's a BMXer who has only been riding trials a short while.
  3. I think it's a fantastic idea, have fun guys
  4. You're preaching to the choir... There are plenty of street riders who don't end every line with a Danny Mac homage. Perhaps you just haven't seen the right videos.
  5. Suuuuuuuuuch a good vibe man, really really cool video. Editing is, as always, fantastic. Line at 1:47 was sick! Got me so pumped for London now!!!
  6. Weird. Not a bad little video to say it's made up of throwaway clips, I'm not too keen on how quiet the bike sounds were in comparison to the song. Riding was decent though.
  7. They're Inspired riser bars but with the same geometry as the Trialtech Riser ones. They're stroooooong.
  8. I watched every video that was uploaded last year, both pro and amateur. If they were all released at the same time there's no way I would sit down and watch hours of videos one after the other. As Ross said, watching a couple a night as they were released was far more satisfying and gave all the videos more exposure than they would otherwise have gained.
  9. A lot of people thought Skye's were ridiculously overpriced when they were released, but it's getting close to two years since I bought one and I'm still using the majority of the original parts. I swapped out a couple of items as personal preference (pedals and stem) but I'm still on the original frame, fork, wheels & axles, bars, cranks, BB, brakes etc I think two years is bloody good for the amount of shit I put the bike through. I wouldn't be shocked and bitter if things started breaking at the two year mark, I'm actually shocked and elated that it's all made it this far.
  10. Cheers, guys! It's a rattle can/hanging in my garage by a coat hanger type affair. I'm overall happy with the finish, I had issues with bits of crap falling off the roof beams in the garage and on to the wet paint. After a couple of goes at sanding back the offending areas and re-spraying, eventually the reality of the fact that it's a trials bike and will never stay looking nice for long set in. I'm only running a rear at the moment, yeah. I'm not sure if it's permanent or not really. For now I'm quite comfortable like this and it keeps the front end a little bit lighter, I wouldn't say it's had any kind of dramatic effect on my riding really, I've never been one for up to fronts and stuff so I'm not hindered in that way. It makes riding natural a bit of a pain, but since I'm moving to London soon, I can't say that will be an issue for long Oh yeah, just to clarify, I haven't actually taken my front brake off specifically to give uni-braking a go, I just haven't put the front brake back on because I need a new rotor/pads and I'm trying to be thrifty!!
  11. I don't really know why I decided to paint my bike again, it just seemed like a good idea at the time. Points to note; I'm no photographer so the red is actually a bit deeper in real life, I forgot to put my brake on before I took the photo, my dog is awesome. Also Lucy @ Indiprint made me some cool little stickers.. That is all.
  12. Is the entry date definitely definitely definitely going to be September?
  13. I guess it's the old saying 'if you haven't got anything nice to say then don't say anything at all'. Same reason I won't comment on the video.
  14. Absolutely ridiculous. Your best riding so far I think, some all of those lines were nuts.
  15. Managed to force myself to watch half of it and then I decided to stop the torture. Awful, just awful.
  16. Woah, wait a minute.. There are still guys riding street in Jersey?! I'm gonna be back in Guernsey for the Summer, we need to get some inter-island love going on!!
  17. That song really would have gone a lot better with a goofy street video edit. Seems like the guy who made this video has some nice kit.
  18. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22000973 It'll be interesting to see what my class rises to once I've completed my degree and I have a full time job, but for now I'm almost the lowest of the low Emergent service workers This class group is financially insecure, scoring low for savings and house value, but high for social and cultural factors. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group: Are young Enjoy a cultured social life Rent their home - almost 90%
  19. I get you, is that actually the reason or is that your opinion? What you're saying does makes sense! I have an exam on electrical fundamentals tomorrow and it's not actually particularly important that I know why this works, I just have to know the fact that it does. However, that's not the way I like to learn shit, I don't see the point in just learning facts when I can put TF's endless expanse of knowledge to good use!
