  1. Dude, you don't know the circumstances. For all we know that kid could've slid down the hill on a toboggan - got the bottom, turned round and WHAM. Anything could have happened, why do people always blame everything on the parents. Accidents happen.
  2. Glad to see I'm not alone then  Another thing is when somebody rights a very long post - then the next person quotes the WHOLE thing and just comments on one of the points. Please stop!
  3. Hmm, maybe not the thing to be joking about...? Poor guy, it's hard not to crack a small smile though.
  4. ah well, it looks like my whole topic is a load of old tosh then! (Y)" BUT whereas it possibly doesn't slow my browser down, it still annoys me a fair bit... Makes topics very untidy in my opinion.
  5. Basically... Yes. I believe last year XTR cranks won an award for the lightest cranks for cross-country AND the strongest cranks for downhill. In the same year. Doesn't that tell you everything you need to know?
  6. Just thought I'd ask very nicely if, when people quote posts, they remove the image tags UNLESS it's absolutely imperative that the image is used in the post. The thing that’s a problem is when somebody quotes a post that had about 5 pictures in - this means that (as I’m using a dial-up connection) it takes absolutely ages for ALL the pics to load up  Please respect the poor mans connection speed (Y) Sam
  7. swimming, tennis, cricket, football, sailing, canoeing, climbing, cross country mountain biking, road racing, downhill racing, dirtjumping, freeride, bmx, trials " EDIT: did some skateboarding too at some point
  8. Maybe you two should have a chat on msn-forum :turned: http://www.biketrial.co.uk/ They sell RB / are the distributers according to bikebiz.com
  9. Never seen the film, but im sure it's brilliant :turned: 7/10 because it's a good advertisement and im going to go watch it :P
  10. I'm guessing he's going for a secondhand one though? Will probably be in not too great condition though. have you tried Ebay? thats on of the best places, or motormart or summit like that?
  11. I also believe it's 'the' not "Th" But hey, maybe I don't speak the same language as everyone else :turned:

I just froogled it and found loads of cheap places... Here you go :turned: Froogle Results
  13. There's an old saying that goes a bit like this... 'If it aint broke, don't fix it' theres nothing wrong with magura blood as long as it's bled correctly. So why bother with GT85 ? Also, doesn't the fact that GT85 is a solvent fill you with doubt about seals and the like? Just give your mate a clip round the ear and tell him to use magura blood :turned:
  14. oh, i got you now - thats very impressive then :P Might be worth a try - are you just running it on the front at the mo?
  15. I think it's Avid full metal jackets... I just thought it might've been an idea, but since mikes already tried and it was poor - theres no point me trying :P odyssey cables for me then!
  16. So you jabbed an allen key in.. like you made a hole? Thats pretty impressive. I've never actually seen any problems with running it on the front, i mean it makes perfect sense. Problems could be lack of tyre choice - although michelin do make some niced tubeless. I'm not a big fan, but hey - nice one if it works for you (Y)
  17. Triple post!! I know outer cable isn't expensive, I work in a cycle shop so i get it free! I'm just wondering about maggy hosing for the friction side of things. I.E. Smoother brake.
  18. Just out of interest did adam get a prize for reaching 6050 posts?
  19. fairly interesting person hitting a ball... I wanna know what happens next though (Y) 6/10
  20. Thats what i was thinking sidehop... It's shit.
  21. Just wondered... Since magura hosing should be all smooth and nice on the inside.. is there any reason why it wouldn't work well for a brake cable? Or is this a crappy idea?
  22. theres quite a bit on this site... http://rubens.anu.edu.au/student.projects/hemp/cooking.html Funny that its a .edu (Y)
  23. I can imagine... A local government site was cracked recently (http://www.thisisguernsey.net/) using sql injection!! Which is crazy since the site held all the details of.. well everything the states does including some naughty stuff that they've spent our taxes on (Y)
