  1. Looks pretty light to me? I've certainly seen way heavier looking bikes than that! :D When can we expect a 24inch vid then matt?
  2. Yes I have... I don't get your point though?

    I want you.
  5. Cut a finger off one of your old gloves and slide it onto your braking finger! :ermm:
  6. A must watch in my opinion is Farenheit 9/11 Really opened my eyes to the events surrounding September 11th. Watch it. Now.
  7. Just having a second look at it... although it's still a brilliant job and you're obviously very skilled with the old lathe and milling machine... Theres not a lot of innovation there, I mean you've just copied an old design really. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's a top job but theres nothing special about the design - sorry! Although I suppose why fix what isn't broken... So I have just contradicted myself... But yeah. (Y) INNOVATE :)
  8. Nice job (Y) Looks pretty damned professional to me :)
  9. Your best bet is to have a look through the pad reviews... That should help (Y) Just because I have no friends to play with - I decided to save you some time :) And for the koxx bloxx....
  10. Not brilliant... but it'll do.
  11. I'm sorry but I disagree with all of you. I've been waiting for about 3 months for him to send me some money and he hasn't. He's messed me around and some other chappie (Michael Hardman i think) with money for a frame. I've got no time for the chap. No PM to tell me if he still wants the stuff, hasn't replied to any PM's asking where my money is. Cock.
  12. Those are either pannier mounts or mudguard mounts. You find them on all taiwanese made frames and forks... Sam
  13. Sure is :- She starts first time... every time  All im doing is replacing panels and shit so that she looks sweet and then i'll be off :)
  14. But for some people (myself included) bikes and cycling in general is one of the only things that keeps us going... I know that without cycling i don't know what I'd do - it truly is the only thing that brings me happiness. Sad I know, but true.
  15. well im at sixth form currently.... but the plan so far is... 1 - Save loadsa cash during A levels. 2 - After A levels go to the UK with my car and bikes for a year or as long as I can keep myself in food and water for. 3 - Then either go to university, get a job in journalism or get a really high paid but probably boring bank job until about 2011 when I purchase a cycle shop jointly with a guy I know. 4 - Spend rest of my life working in the one place i love with the one thing i love - bikes :) 5 - Eventually set up mail order, couple of shops etc EXPANSION My careers teachers and teacher type people think i'm being silly and not think its jsut a dream, but hell I AM A DREAMER - however, this is one dream that WILL be realised... maybe i won't ever be good enough at cycling to get paid for it... but one way or another im going to earn money by working in the cycle industry (Y) apologies for the poor spelling/grammar - i get really excited talking about my plans and type very quick :D

    Pashley

Good plan (Y) Mich Comp 24 on a D521 is (arguably) the ultimate choice for the rear :P Can't go wrong :P

    Pashley

totally agree (Y) You'll find that a stock is harder to pop on the back wheel and stuff than a mod... so you'll jsut have to bare with it for a while :P I find that whenever I get on a mod i nearly do a backflip because im sooo used to a stock... persevere :P

  20. I didn't mean today :S Nah seriously though, I wasn't taking the michael - just a method I find useful. Saves you feeling like a cock... A conversation a mate had with magura... Him: Hey my maguras started leaking and it's still under the warranty period anychance of getting it warrantied? Them: Yeah sure, thats no problem. I'll take your details then you can send the damaged brake to us and we'll replace it Him: Thats sound. Cheers. EXCHANGE OF DETAILS Them: So you been riding long then? Him: Yeha good few years now... Them: What type of riding do you do then? Him: I'm into trials, been doi....... Them: interrupts - sorry not covered by warranty, have a nice day. :o
  21. Manchester. Two words - duaccerliiydebioxcon I'll be very embarrased if I spelt it wrong... :o"
  22. :o What I usually do is phone up pretending I'm looking into buying a certain product (Chris King hub in this case) then ask them if the flange snaps will it be covered etc... You get the idea, just ask all the questions relating to what you did to the wheel - then phone back later on and tell them you need a warranty replacement! :o
