hmm, not bad... less stickers please and maybe a wee bit more colour co-ordination ;) The important bit though... how does she ride??
-
Try living in Guernsey!! The max speed limit is 35mph and in a lot of places you cant exceed 25... ;)
-
But they did make a trials frame... It was a mod. Not very successful though ;) EDIT: Found a pic

Well, ok then... Don't really know what to say to that :">

I'm a tit. -
 1060 isn't long!! My Norco is about 1050ish and thats fine for manuals and bunnyhops. Just to confirm... It's more about reach and stem than WB. If you have a long stem on a short bike its a b*****d to bunnyhop. As for your bike...

However it would be stupidly expensive. Also, who wants a flexy frame??

This isn't anything new but if you really want to get into rails but you're worried about slippage.. I guess this is a good idea  Could get in a bit of bother if people see you rubbing tar on a rail though!!
-
aaah yeah, my bad  Well take that as 100% confirmation then that you can't use it for trials (Y) *CASE CLOSED I DO BELIEVE*

Dude, Firstly why bother quoting a post if your gonna post directly below it? Secondly, if your going to quote a post... at least read the post first... You've made yourself look rather silly

Black and Silver spokes are exactly the same. You just pay a wee bit more for black ones. Round it up not down... Theres always a little extra space in the rim for your spoke to sit - but if the spokes don't reach the nipples then you're fecked (also you want to have enough spoke in the nipples thread.) So yeah. I'd round up.

 I pretty much answered that in the second half of my post Rich (Y)

The only problem with adapters though Tom is that unless they clamp around the frame or something (instead of simply bolting into the existing maggy mount) you will find they flex like a b*****d. This is a wee problem

Gutted. I guess the problem arises that Base is a cheap frame in comparison to other frames on the market, and because of this the frames probably don't undergo the same level of quality control. Also since they are made abroad it's likely that the chappies at Base don't check exactly all the fine details of the frame as it's being made. Maybe sloppy measurements too.. dunno. I'm also wondering, maybe it is intentionally thinner to save a wee bit of weight becasue there is more strain on the right hand seatstay? Or rather, the right hand chainstay (driveside) is made thicker to compensate for the.. well, drive!

I run an avid SD7 with plazmatic pads on smooth rim and with an XTR lever. Heres a wee run down... Avid brakes are the dogs, don't go for XTR as there's too much to go wrong with all the parralell swing etc (awesome for xc, not so good for trials due to different strains) Levers... i use XTR because i love the feel, really XTR levers and something like the SD7 levers are both equally as good... XTR is rounder though and i like that - feels more like a Magura lever. Pads... I'm currently using plazmatics on a smooth rim however they are absolutely bollocks in the wet so maybe try some heatsinks or something. If you have a grind plazmatics will only last about 1hour before your running metal on metal  Hope this helps... One last thing, if you have cash to splash you'll be wanting... Avid Ultimate XTR Lever Plazmatics or Heatsinks or summit Odysey Linear Slik Cable teflon inner cable XTR carbon booster - I have 3 (Y) P.S. Don't buy the titanium avids - titanium flexes - nuff said P.S.S.

I'm not sure if anybody has spotted this yet... but ZR9000 it Treks own brand. It's a kind of composite - and I'm not sure you'd be able to get hold of it very easily? However as has been said, sure the frames on the treks are thin as they are designed for xc... So why not use this metal with thicker tubes and then still have an equally light frame but very strong. Meh, dunno whats wrong with steel though myself

Don't put too much... otherwise the locktite can have problems drying and so will act a bit like a lubricant... making the bolt come loose >_< Less is more.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean... There was this chap up the road frmo me who bought a red car... but personally I would have gone for a grey one because it matches his suit. Skateboards. Bench. Viagra. Turtleneck Dove.

There's no comparison. Your ethnic group has no relation to any form of disfigurement. Also, with reference to your "horrific facial deformity boy" word - theres a difference.. 'nigga' is never going to be as offensive as 'black scum' equally calling a white person 'snowdrop' is not as offensive as being called 'white trash'. Or because at the time of writing the script there wasn't much political correctness flying round so they could type that. Also its a television programme that loosely depicts real life so it should be acceptable to use the word pakki. An asian man on Eastenders was referred to as 'The local Al Qaeda' a couple of weeks ago, this for example, is acceptable as it's a soap. That made me chuckle >_< I've never fully understood why black people call each other 'niggas' - they do it in an affectionate way usually and so they can hardly blame people for calling them niggas... It's like the phrase goes - "Practice What You Preach'.

Just thought I'd take this opportunity to congratulate Onza on the Woodstock spec bikes they have released. Up until recently I've been very much against Onza for a couple of reasons... Firstly their bikes have always been (to the knowledge) 'proper' trials bikes in that some are crescent, they are low and they are very trialsy etc, now this style of bike doesn't really appeal to me. Secondly I've always been put off by the fact that i see ghetto kids riding to school on Onzas and at skate parks etc - but they can't actually ride trials (one scally didn't even realise he was riding a trials bike!) I'm afraid to say that this brought an element of snobbishness into me in that I didn't want these little ghetto scallies to see me riding a bike like them! However... I will almost certainly be purchasing a Woodstock as it is exactly what I'm after - top spec, nice and streety looking but it's not too streety - perfect :D I'm glad to say I have matured and realised that image is nothing, so the name and the fact that ghetto kids ride them doesn't bother me. The frames look nice, if it snaps I’ll get another one half price. Good work guys :D
